| Like op said "tis a joke. @matildac I like both studios as well.Both did a great jon but look at the wit's side. Both had their ups and downs that everyone can agree. But if you want to see the difference in Wits design from the Manga,the shadings in Eren's face aren't in place like Reiner's shadings. |

I always had a problem with those shadows with lines that have the artistic style of mappa. it's as if the characters have dirty faces heck i remember the first seasons of gumball where they had an annoying black shadow (mostly seen under darwin's head)  and personally I did not like it, it was improving after some seasons. anyway, that's why gumball is better than AOT. |

I guess to replicate the original manga artstyle? Personally not a fan of it either. Especially in that table conversation of episode 14, the black lines were super distracting for me. I feel like such intense line-work should only be reserved for super intense or unsettling expressions. I have no problem with the manga looking like this, but in the anime they copied it thinking that it would look great, also, if they didn't put those lines, they would have saved a little more time by not drawing them. |

| The blur filter and the color palette especially in the Marley arc were not my cup of tea. I liked the scenes without that effect a lot better because they looked crisper and more defined. I don't think they have any intention of getting rid of those filters in the next part, but I hope they leave more scenes without them. |

I agree, there were times where I didn't really mind the blur that much and there were times where I found it completely unnecessary, I can also agree with you on the color grading as well. Tbh, I doubt it will happen but I want the director of photography or the art director of Dorohedoro to work on Part 2 because I personally thought that the backgrounds for Dorohedoro looked great |

MAPPA's faithfulness to the Manga art style even though Isayama admitted he bad at drawing and encouraged Wit for redesign only showed they are making unprofessional decision. |

Apart from Zeke, Gabi, Falco, Reiner and Willy everyone else need to get re-design. Plus, if MAPPA use 2D for Attack Titan the fights would look spectacular. |
