| No. I did not cry. Yes: It was sad. But I mainly cry for emotional scenes with chars that I like. Natsume Yuujinchou here as a similar anime did a great job with being episodic and creating great episodes where you even could love the episodic chars. Made me cry often. (I often felt that one episode was better than a whole season of most other anime lol.) Usually I also do not cry about deaths and love stuff. But more about friendship/loyalty scenes - and where someone sacrifices something ... such stuff. Here we had the "thing" (that appeared as wolf) - I do not care (yet) about it. And some nameless boy. And nice visuals. Was okay. But nothing more. |

Aight let me re word my original statement in a friendly,non toxic way. Please don't overhype it wayyyyy too much.Or people are gonna go with the trend and call this "Overrated".The same happened with Demon slayer.Everyone were hyping the episode 19 too much and now everyone calls it overrated.This series really has a good plot and I don't want to call it overrated because of the hype from the fanbase. My apologies. |

| No. I personally didn't cry. It was inevitable that the boy was going to die, and it kept getting more apparent throughout the episode. The wolf not being able to make it through the cold with a wound gives a big hint that the same fate was awaiting the boy. The boy is even on the cover art, which sort of gives away that the orb would be taking on his form. Maybe if we knew him for longer then I may have grown more attached, but I was more accepting of the nameless boy's death - though it was still pretty sad. |
| usually anime doesn't make me emotional, but this did, that guy wanted so desperatly to be with someone, i knew he would have died since his introduction because it was obvious, but that was so sad, i also felt sad for the globe that shape-shift since that was the first person that he met and he really cared for him, evn if he thought it was his dog, it probably felt sadder than other anime deaths because the feeling of loneliness is easy to relate to. |

| I teared up and got a lump in my throat, I didn't actually cry, but still. Especially in the past few years. |

| seeing all these threads before watching the episode made me expect something extremely sad but overall I think I’ve gotten closer to tearing up watching something like non non biyori, maybe the next few episodes will do something for me |

| Didn't cry, but I was a bit stressed the whole time about how the boy will die since he left the abandoned village. If the first half was melancholic, the second half was depressing. At least he passed away in a way he wanted (at the last moment, nobody wants to die like that). The injury only aggravated the deterioration of his health, so it's a bit of realistic misfortune too. At the end, I think a future episode might actually make me cry. |

| I cried twice while watching this episode. Once when I was watching it for the first time, and the 2nd time when I was rewatching it with my friend. |
