| sure that was something, saw a lot of new things this episode. So i guess Naofumi will also have his "extremely pissed off and raged" mode in the form of meeting the curse requirements? Eh i mean it looked interesting, the weird text felt slightly off putting, but by the looks of it, it would be pretty cool if the curse also activated ever single one of his skills, since it did look as if his entire skill tree lit up like a Christmas tree. Either way pretty cool concept. Ah shit so Ren's dead dragon caused all of this? I mean that's not enough to make me hate the guy since after all he did slay an entire fucking dragon, and i mean hay, how many times after you slayed a dragon do you think to yourself unless you're the cautious hero "i should probably dispose of it corpse in the unlightly event it decomposes into extremely toxic gases and ends up killing any neighbouring village in a 50km radius." but still, your really handing Naofumi the title of "cleaning janitor of the heroes fuck ups" right now. Some pretty heartwarming stuff at the end i guess, Naofumi giving out some genuine smiles to Raphtalia and Filo. |

| Holy shit, finally Naofumi got a tough opponent. It was a zombie dragon! And he almost defeated and burnt into a sea of rage. But, ofc, Raph would be there to stopped him and prevented any unnecessary shit. Yeah, that Firo actually survived. Sasuga my fuckin fatass loli chick, as expected from her genkiness! But, its cost much too them. Despite Raph was under a curse ill, Nao also awakened his cursed shield overskill. Yeah, that rage fire shield, tho. Idk, but, somehow, i feel like that kind of power can be controlled. So, lets how far Naofumi can make a sure, his rage never controlled his whole mind anymore. Also, another somehow, i feel like those legendary shield, actually alived and really consumed the owner's negative soul energy. That shield really the real enemy to Naofumi, as her fear as the whole time. Oh well, well, then. Better you hold on that power, yuusha-sama .... Okay, next episode! |

| Was pretty obvious that Filo would survive, an undead dragon probably can't even digest anything anymore. Wonder if Naofumi will master that curse shield sooner or later, seems to be quite powerful. Next episode is called "Colossal bitch", that's an interesting title. |

| I feel like the show's already lost its momentum 8 episodes in, this had serious moments with Raphtalia sacrificing her health in a way to calm Naofumi down but somehow even this felt like a waste of time to me with how everything was presented. I actually might apologize for how harsh I was with the comments of the Slime anime while rewatching it since this feels like a bigger waste of time. |
| For sure that shield power that was shown in this episode will return once again in this anime. But probably Naofumi will manage to control him or lose all control, and it will be at a time with more impact and emotion. |

| Holy shit the curse shield. Man I LOL'd so hard when Filo said that wasn't blood but she just threw up the fruits she ate earlier, I had to pause the episode. After seeing the power of curse shield we can say that shield hero isn't weak, Naofumi just has to gain control over the power of curse shield and he can do offensive damage inducing attacks too. This episode was pretty enjoyable too. 5/5. |

| I LOVE this anime! What a great find! Ok, the bird is weird, her appearance detracts from the entire look and feel of the show, if she didn't look like something you'd put in a child's easter basket it would be a great improvement. Dragon zombie? Cool addition, and the addition of the hate shield was a good item to make the story even more exciting, but defeating the dragon zombie with an easter chick puking fruit juice was a bit too high on the weird scale. 9/10 |
| Even if the dragon is a zombie, Filo was too raw of a chicken to eat lol. I enjoyed the ep but also think it would've been better if they made the moment he used the curse shield more emotional as it felt quite sudden. |

| The inability of the shield to do any offensive damage makes the rage upgrade seem a tad pointless. The only thing it can do in that situation is block, even if it's on fire. Would very much like to see an upgrade of skill for the shield that either reflects damage, or builds up a debuff status on the attacker over time. This is an isekai with at least moderate reference to video game mechanics, and there aren't many defensively orientated classes out there in role-playing games that have zero offensive capability of any kind. Then again, there aren't many classes in games that only let you use a shield and nothing else either, so maybe Naofumi really did get the short end of the stick here. |

| Wow the curse shield looks cool and strong. I'm just glad enough that Filo was alright to begin with after all that rage Naofumi experiencing against the zombs dragon. |
