| Im playin Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles on Wii, its a first person shooter that allows you to switch through weapons. Kinda like Time Crisis without the clock. Its really difficult but excellent once you get past the minor details. Also Doom 3. dark room, headphones on, volume up and nothing better to do. |

| Heh, haven't posted in a while. Might do a big update. Finally bought a 360, and I'm glad I did. Despite not having any games yet, I've borrowed a lot off my friends. I've been playing through Eternal Sonata on 360 and I'm liking it a lot. I'm glad Aya Hirano voices Polka in the game, 'cause Aya is awesome. The game itself is pretty solid. The combat ideas are pretty damn awesome, though I can imagine it becoming a little too easy later on. I can pretty much beat down everyone in a few turns without taking any damage, and hopefully the add in a few more enemy typed. I also played through Batman: Arkham Asylum. Bloody great game, easily the best Batman (possibly even superhero) game of all time. Visuals are brilliant, but you can see that the Unreal Engine is aging in some elements. I still think they need to improve their texture loading because it is becoming extremely annoying. It's not too much of a problem in truth, but it just takes away some of the games magic. Combat is great and fluid with top notch animations, plus, some of the stealth element are healthily frustration, requiring you too think a lot. Definitely recommended. Played Section 8, it was shit. Don't buy it. Also been playing through Red Faction: Guerrilla. I know I'm a little late to that party, but man, it's pretty awesome. The difficulty can sometimes spike incredibly, but that destruction is pretty damn awesome and it easily blows the frostbite engine out of the water. Watching buildings crumble is so satisfying ^_^ Overall, 360 was a good purchase, my GT is Ghettomould if anyone wants to add me. ALSO, My PS3 finally was fixed (thank the fucking lord), so I could get into Uncharted 2! Cbf typing stuff up about it, just check out my review here :) I have also been playing Folklore (2 years after release, woohoo!) and I think it's awesome. I love the creature and character designs. The folks are all really awesome, and the ID capture system is pretty damn awesome. Another thing I love is the feel of Doolin village during the daytime. It has a bleak, mysterious, almost hostile kind of feel to it. I love the feel of Japan Studio's games (also see Siren Blood Curse, awesome feeling game) Well, that's about it, for now.... |
