| Art and animation are the best they have ever been since season 2, Mappa is killing it and if someone complains about this they should not be taken seriously. If i had to complain about something it would be Eren face at the end, in the manga he had some tears in his eyes, but other than that pure perfection, storyboard and directing are insane. |

People only realized he was laughing when the sfx were pointed out in English. They're the characters above his face in the panels. | Can we just take a moment to appreciate Falco? He's such a pure boy, he just wants to protect Gabi at all costs and he ended up getting beat up for something he hasn't done :( |

Huh?????? I heard him laughing. What sfx are talking about? You mean in the manga? Yeah I didn't notice at that time. I too pick up that he is laughing, so I am bit confuse why you didn't realize he is laughing? Someone in this thread even pointed it out. It is a bit subtle though. |

| @SparkleDuck With manga, you have to make it more obvious since its just still images. Not so much with anime, eren's silent laugh makes sense here since he is filled with obvious different emotions over her death and has no proper way to respond to it. Kind of like how hannes died in season 2, he didnt know the proper way to react to it, so he just cried and laughed at the same time here with sasha like he did with hannes, just a lot more silently since hes not the rage monster he used to be. |

| The art in this episode was AMAZING by the way The armored titan was so incredibly detailed. All of the characters looked so clean. They nailed the expressions. What an episode |
| Like when I read the manga, I didn't feel much when Sasha died. Episode itself was very well done. Gabi getting onto airship and shooting Sasha felt less contrived to me than in the manga. |

Yeah, it was a mixture of crying and laughing, cry laughing is usually how eren responds to deaths of loved ones lately since he cant properly register it right away. |

About the preview, could someone spoil me if the next episode will be a prequel/flashback or will actually be a sequel, of the events which just happened ? | “Meat” as her last words did bring a smile to my face but still, so sad. Sasha was one of my favorites. Also, big eff you to the user that spoiled me on this today. I had no idea but of course there’s a thread with it in the title of the topic. My mistake for coming to the discussion here but I had only wanted to check if ep 8 was out or not. Was it really worth it, asshole? Could’ve just said “RIP *spoiler*” or something. Or better yet, nothing at all. |

| R.I.P. Sasha, may you forever rest in meat paradise. Fuck you Gabi, may you burn and be stepped on in Titan Hell. Anyways Eren is now back with his fellow brethren, and Levi finally speaked showing disgust to Eren as he compares him to the lowly underground people. Also I am actually shocked that Zeke is part of the Eldians. Concerning Zeke's backstory, I can see why he will do such a traitorous move. But hopefully in the next episode they should explain how Zeke went from his actions in Shinganshina to today. Also Yelena (not Armin) is actually the one that trapped Pieck and Galliard in the hole, and it's a TRAP. Well Sasha is dead, Armin and Mikasa painfully cries as they sit beside Sasha's corpse. What hit me the most in that scene is Connie's sole tear. And as they despair in the bad news, Eren laughs. Not a malicious and maniacal laugh, but a broken and nervous laugh. Looking back, Sasha was a big part of their Scouting days, and who knows how Eren really feels. Is he crazily happy or a broken man inside masked by a laugh. Goddamn it Eren, Sasha and 7 others wouldn't have died for your sake. "Meat..." R.I.P. Sasha Blouse. You are crazy, you are gluttonous, but you'll still be missed. Your sweetness and love for meat shall prevail for the rest of time.  What a sweet last moment between the three. |
