Ironically, she ended up being the "toy" when she thought she was playing with one all along. The mastermind is making his move...

I just felt kind of disappointing when Ginoza and others are investigating, they really didn’t suspect any students in the academy? 🤷‍♀️ Given that two victims came from that school. Anyway, it was solved in the end so it doesn’t matter anymore.

As for Rikako, that was such a tragic end, though she deserves it anyway.

I wonder what’s Makishima’s goal really is. And how helping those criminals correlates with his plans on revolution (that’s what I think he wants from previous episodes). Or am I just missing something? Lol

Ok this might be a stupid question, but why did Makishima kill the girl? Normally I wouldn't think too much about that, but since he said "Do you know why you disapponted me? ...oh well nevermind" now I want to know! Was that because she was found out by the police?

This is just my opinion, that girl only took students from her school, it might make Makishima disappointed, and he found a new toy that was more interesting than that girl, so he killed the girl and focused on his new toy, the new toy was Kougami.

This arc and this villain were remniscent of Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs.

Its very interesting how this series has so many references to literature and art in general, with many film-noir, cyberpunk and serial killer movie vibes.

Felt like she got off too easy. I thought the hunt was set up so that she would be torn to pieces, so what was the point of the robot dogs a cut on the hand? She dissected live human beings and she got off with few cuts and a head shot before she could even feel pain. She got off too lightly in my opinion.

So Moriarty now will focus on Sherlock.

Know what it means right?

TRAGEDY

Who from the enforcers or inspectors is going to die first?

If Ko-chan was the MC of this show, Akame would be doomed with all the death flags.

Now i think that the old enforcer Masaoka maybe will be the first death among the group.

another case closed, pretty fast.
just finding kougami is too fast on solving cases, there's no much struggle and tension about finding the culprit. the characters behaviour and personality is more interesting than solving the case itself. hope it will be improve.

Getting killed off by Shougo and his lap dogs isn't as satisfying as justice being delivered by the good guys, in my opinion. But it is karmic, since her blind trust was taken advantage of in much the same way she abused the trust of the students who idolised her. Shougo even outclasses her in pretentiously sermonising about loathing society.

Come to think of it, Shougo appears to be able to teleport wherever he wants without anyone questioning it. That is absolutely a very powerful ability for a criminal.

So the girl murderer got away from Kougami because a teacher grabbed his arm and Kougami got held up by the teacher. This is the same Kougami who excessively beat the crap out of a sparing robot set to the highest level, but we're supposed to believe some old guy teacher was able to get in his way for so long that the girl murderer could jog away at a dainty pace? For that to make sense, that sparing robot must have been set on the lowest level, and Kougami's muscles was a holographic lie...he was just trying to impress Akane by BS-ing.

And somehow while the whole campus was locked down with high security robots and enforcers everywhere, the girl murderer was able to get away. Not only that, but somehow that hunting murderer was able to show up to the campus with his robot hunting dogs, shotgun, and hunting outfit with nobody noticing. He even kills the girl murderer with a shotgun blast and nobody notices while they're all on high alert looking for the girl murderer. And talk about trap placement, he somehow guesses to place a leg trap exactly where that girl was in that huge ass place. It wasn't even a narrow confined space she was pigeon holed into going.

I want to like this anime, but it's so frustratingly stupid with the details. Are the enforcers even going to check the school computer system to see who has access to delete the camera videos, next episode? I'm guessing not since they got the partial recovered audio of the girl murderer saying the guy's name (that's so dumb), but they should have been able to figure out somebody on the school staff was involved just by the videos being deleted, if they were so incompetent.

Kogami Shinya really is insane, his skills are super high in all domains, besides his impressive detective abilities, he seems to also have technical abilities of the highest levels. The fact that the guy from the high profile prison knew him well also shows that he frequently asked for help there. We can't know everything and there's always an expert better than us in something, also his mentality that enabled him to ask for help there even though they are criminals is what probably made him such a beast of a detective, it's probably that darkness that he has looked too deep into that I think was brought up a couple of episodes ago.

Also, it finally looks like we are stepping into direct encounter between the main protagonist and main antagonist. It will all get only more interesting from here, though maybe they won't get directly into straight ahead battles, Makishima Shougo might play some more with his puppets.

Of course to mention the scene of the hunt, oh my God, it's just as vile and brutal as everything before it, but it felt perfectly in place there to conclude this mini arc and investigation. I absolutely love this anime and everything about it, it feels like everything that appears on screen is perfectly in place for the setting and the plot, nothing is extra, nothing is missing.
