It must be Eren’s son, the reason that he is doing this so desperately and even at the cost of his friends.

I recently just saw the Korean scans a couple hours ago as well, and when I tell you I got chills I GOT CHILLS. This chapter is truly a masterpiece especially when they held the baby in the air, the praying and screaming during the rumble. The people jumping off the cliffside was also a jaw dropping moment. If you guys want more details on this check out reddit ^^

so Armin is asking Eren what part of him is free anyway? lol wtf

makes sense for Armin to ask that since Eren is a slave of guilt right now and forever

they want to end the cycle of hate all of the remaining adults though nice one

What an absolutely amazing chapter. Isayama never disappoints. I am sure whether the alliance succeeds or fails, he will write the story in a satisfying way. This chapter really makes it clear the ending is coming in a few more chapters. I predict one more volume of 3-5 chapters.

This is it boys, the final battle of a decade long journey is finally here. I’d say we got 4-5 chapters left to go max. By far the best chapter we’ve got in almost a year imo. Action packed, high stakes, set the stage for the finale. Hype.

i feel like its a Code Geass ending with the MC plan it all along including his sacrifice but worse is that the world genocide succeeded but ye its still a fine ending for me if that happens

The chapter felt very short.

I liked the sceneries of the rumbling. All those innocent lives could have been saved.

The alliance coming off the plane was really cool, correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that onyakopon didnt make it alivr, right ? Also the symbolic meaning of reiner transforming in front of his mother to really save the world this time was amazing. Subtle and yet powerful. For me it was hands down the best moment of the chapter. Sasuga Isayama.

However i didn't like how some lines were hinting towards a code geass ending but i am reserving my judgement as it could be a red herring, and i'm convinced that there is still one final big plot twist to the manga and i'm sure it's gonna deliver so i remain optimist.

This chapter felt the shortest so far, damn...

I guess Historia's about to be a mother. Never would have imagined I could say that ages ago, but here we are lol

Zeke's appearance was hype, but pretty fucking hilarious as well ngl. Never thought Eren would use him like that LMAO

Really don't know how I'm going to wait a month after this.

Hope we get more transformations next chapter as well as more deaths.

Probably because of that speech by the Marleyan. It felt really cheesy honestly and hinted a superficial Code Geass ending . But like you said we should reserve judgement until the finale. Also which Symbolic meaning of Reiner transforming were you referring to if I might ask.

Fantastic chapter, the stakes are higher than ever here. And finally Historia is back with her baby being born.
That said, I doubt that the Marleyans would be quite so forgiving to their aggressors st the end, but miracles can happen. Just gives this a good resolution now Isayama, don't get too sugary here at the end of things.

Marvelous chapter. If Isayama uses the excuse of speech right now with Armin instead of continuing the scenery of flesh and bones, I´ll be a little bit dissapointed but it´s understandable.
I never tought that Zeke was dead, but I don´t think that he´s helping Eren without anything for exchange.
Another fantastic drawing feast, and also a brilliant title.

I mean they are defeated, its a hopeless situation they are facing right now. Nothing cheesy about that, its just a natural reaction to a defeated person.

I don't think we are getting a ending where Eren kills everyone except for Paradise island type of ending. I mean what type of message is that? I know persons here simple wan a kill them all ending simple because that is not following the cliche, but I think we need some balance.

So I believe we are getting a bittersweet ending, I don't think Eren dying will be because he made it happen, which would mean its not a code geass ending.

But instead all the main and supporting cast is dead yes including Eren and majority of the population is dead, but the few remaining from outside the walls and paradise island will come together and become one civilization.

And thus the eldians inside the walls will be free and that will go in line with the final panel.

So would you guys prefer that ending, no code geass ending but it will be more of a bittersweet ending, both audience I think would be pleased with this ending to some extend.

I'm more annoyed that persons are still expecting a happy ending after even seen this chapter. We are getting a bittersweet ending for sure. We have Billions of people already dead, Eren for sure is going to die in the end and probably all the main cast and supporting cast too. Is that considered a happy ending?

Yeah, sure thing and then Armin will convince Eren that genocide is bad and then Eren will be convince by it and he will stop all the wall titans and everyone will completely forget about the billions of people that already dead, the end.

Like come on people.

Honestly no other chapter gave me as many chills as this one. The baby scene was... oh my god... I'm really wondering how will MAPPA handle these scenes,I hope they don't improve it I'm already dead inside enough, I don't want to feel even worse. It's still not clear who's the father but it's even more likely it's Eren at this point

Also thank god for Levi's "that fucking monkey" or else I'd still remain depressed, he's the comic relief we needed but didn't deserve

Since he was a kid Karina wanted Reiner to become a warrior in order to become a hero. Someone who would bring them pride and glory by eliminating the threat that is Paradis. Of course she didn't know better, she was fed lies through government propaganda but this still had a huge impact on her son who fully believed her and dedicated his life to live up to the expectations and become the "hero that will save the world". Everything fell apart when he realized that he is no hero, he drowned in guilt after realizing that he is nothing more than a mass murderer. The only wish he has left is to die and there is nothing keeping him away from suicide if not for the children and his current mission.

His mother only now understood the immense burden that she put on her child and she felt horrible from it. Both of them were victims of the lies they were fed, of the world they were living in.

Now that she is free from the lies, she cries in regret and sorrow for having destroyed the life of her child and as the world is about to get trampled and all hopes is lost, her son appears out of nowhere from the sky to save humanity. Thus fulfilling their dream, Reiner is finally becoming a hero who is fighting to save the world.

This is definitely not getting a happy ending nor a code Geass one.

Just wait for Armin’s final solution, which I believe is ending the titan curse and making the paradisians to blend with the world in some way.

This chapter was amazing. Rumbling continued and more people are getting completely wiped out. Eren using Monke boy to do his bidding by attacking the fleet was hilarious and subverted my expectations in a good way. The only negative for me is Armin is still useless as a leader and doesnt deserve to be the one to stop Eren other than him being Eren’s best friend.

We in the end game now.

Wow, this chapter's panels are very haunting. So much dread, so much despair, the end of the world just struck and many people are dying.

lol, how is people able to think that there could be a happy ending where millions of people have died, that's not happy at all lmao.

lol what logic is that, he was already told to us that he is the father since chapter 108, remember the random characters told us that so it must be true.

Of course the guy that was told to watch over Historia by the yeagerist and pretend to be the dad would also be in the hospital praying for a healthy delivery, he is the fake dad after all.

But yeah, it does check out this is totally not unreliable narrative right here.

Christ, this chapter was probably more disturbing than the one where Ramzi died, which I literally thought was impossible. The scene with the baby was so depressing wtf. Isayama has done a terrific job at portraying the horrors of the rumbling.

I love the Marleyan monologue ''We used hate, raised hate, believed hate to be our savior.. we left all the problems we created on the 'island of devils' and as a result, that devil was born to return the hate we gave it. If I were given another chance I swear not to make the same mistakes" This part gave me literal chills. The rumbling as a narrative device is the culmination of all the hatred, oppression and racism upon the world, which is definitely impactful in so many ways. Hats off to Isayama.

Reiner gets to be the hero he wanted to always be. I am happy for how his character arc has been written.

I am pretty sure Zeke is being controlled by the Founding Titan. Kinda sad to think about that when all he wanted was to save his brother and feel like he has a family.

There's still much to be seen. I am sure my boy Armin is gonna find a solution in some way. He did ask if Eren is free, and while he;s not controlled by anyone and this has always been him, his actions and how he feels shows he's somewhat a slave to his destiny and to what he feels is his duty to carry out. We saw Armin meet kid Eren in paths a few chapters ago so this must be important. Armin is already determined to do his best and rip Eren out of the titan. I think that in Eren's words, Armin might be the one to save humanity.

That was actually a good option all along even before this hellish frame came over... but there is only one issue behind and that is ymir fritz... we still dont know her point of view or excluding it what could occurred if eren were replace by another holder. If his succesor could access to the paths without being royal now that ymir has open her eyes or if thats not near the case.

That was a great line to be honest. One of my favourites since Eren Kruegers line back in the Return to Shinganshina Arc :

"The only truth in this world is that there is no truth. Anyone can become a god or a devil. All it takes is for people to believe it."

In any case, this chapter was great, probably one of my favourites this year. I knew there had to be a more satisfying ending to Zeke's story, and I'm glad he made an appearance. You just know Levi will be going out, minus some fingers, to try and make sure he finishes him off this time around and avenges Erwin.

The fact that farmer-kun has been shown in a panel this late in the game leads me to believe that he is in fact the father. The only reason Isayama would even bother showing him in panels at this point is if he's trying to reverse-uno the audience by making us think he is, because he's an otherwise unimportant, irrelevant character to the story.

The battle and the birth happening concurrently in the same chapter also tells me they're intrinsically linked for a good reason, so hopefully all will be revealed by Isayama over the next few chapters. We've already established that Eren can see the future, so obviously knows the identity of Historia's child.

I have an inkling at this point that it's a reincarnation of Ymir. Historia will inevitably name it after her friend, also called Ymir, for the symbolism. Not 100% sure on that though.

Now that the final battle has begun, there's probably only around 3-4 chapters left.
