| fucking hell. the manga is already excellent and the anime adaptation has been incredible. i was super excited to see how they'd tackle ishigami's character arc since it's one of the best storylines in the manga, and they blew it out of the water. this is probably the first time that i've seen an episode of anime and thought that the episode alone is a 10/10. |

| I fucking cried during this episode. My fucking boy Ishigami finally getting some damn praise!!! LET'S GO!!! I love his connection with Kaguya now it's so good. And when Shirogane stopped Iino from comforting him after the loss God just so good. This episode really showed how great friends these kids are. Ishigami is best boy, but Shirogane is the best character in this series. Dude is amazing |

| This was completely different from the laugh-out-loud episodes I'm used to with Kaguya-sama... AND BOY DID I LOVE IT! Wow! What a great episode! This reminded me of Gintama in which it started out with very strong comedy but then introduced even stronger drama. And I'm all for it! AOTY contender, no doubt about it. PS: My love for Shirogane keeps growing with each episode. |

| We all love IshiGODmi, but I want to point out how Shirogane is the FUCKING BADASS in this serie. Underrated boy. Best chapter so far. Writing and direction were on point |
| This is easily the single best anime episode I've seen in a long time. I can't believe how brilliantly executed this was, honestly this anime is a unparalleled example of how to take an already phenomenal source material and by some miracle manage to make it even more amazing by fully capitalizing on all the strengths of the animation medium to bring the source material to even higher heights. I especially loved what they did at the end with him now finally being able to "see" everybody and the burst of relief/growth he finally achieved; gave me some major "A Silent Voice" vibes. I cannot believe how great this show is, I'd give it an 11/10 if I could. |

| What an episode! Ishigami's past was truly depressing. He used his own reputation to protect Otomo's happiness. He even endured it for so long. Now finally he found his own happiness. That "Go to hell,dumbass!" tho. 10/10 episode |

A Wild and Small Otaku has Appeared! |
| I've noticed how much other users here who've read the manga have been hyping up Ishigami and the sports festival over the last 4 or 5 weeks now, so it led me to assume that something big or impactful was going to happen. With that in mind, I hoped that the hype for this arc would be met. And the result? This is, personally, the best Kaguya-Sama episode we've had so far and possibly one of the best episodes this entire year, as well. We already got a very condensed hindsight as to what Ishigami did during his Junior High years previously, but didn't go into huge detail since it was from Miko's friend's POV. This time, we got to see how it truly unfolded from start to finish. Ishigami did what he thought was right and most people with a good sense of justice would've done their best to stop the scumbag who was dating Otomo to prevent him from dishing out revenge porn pics that he had of Otomo, without her even knowing that he took them. It felt infuriating to see how the scumbag didn't show any remorse for his actions, typical thinking from someone who only wanted to get laid by many girls. He fully deserved the beating he got from Ishigami. Sadly, the scumbag used that opportunity to tell a lie, which was sadly believed by the growing crowd who witnessed Ishigami's meltdown, including Otomo. His suspension was expected, and deserved, although it pissed me off with the way that the "teachers" didn't try at all to help Ishigami or even listen to his side of the story. That shitty teacher who yelled a lot at him needs a punch to the face, BIG time. >_< Thankfully, Miyuki came to Ishigami's rescue and he knew that he was innocent through all of this, thanks to their secret investigation that proved that Ishigami was right to not write a letter of apology. The way that Miyuki then wrote "Go to hell, dumbass!" on the letter was very epic, which not only got Ishigami crying, but for me to choke up in tears, too. Otomo will most likely never know how much of a piece of crap that her ex-boyfriend was, so I can't hate her at all when she was none the wiser. It was no surprise that her resentment of Ishigami was still as strong as ever as she wished for him to screw up in the relay race. Ishigami's response to that was to tell her to "Go to hell, dumbass!", which was bloody priceless. Best putdown I've seen in ages! XD Although he lost the relay by a fraction, thanks to a slower teammate on his team, he was able to open his eyes in a way that was very similar to A Silent Voice, which gave him a new view of everyone around him. It was great that the red team won overall, which had Ishigami cheering with a big smile on his face. He also now smiles in the ED animation, too. ^_^ Overall, this sums up why I love this series so much. The characters, in their own unique ways, are amusing and charming and, of course, the comedy is top-tier brilliance, but it's these type of shows that can make you laugh so much, but when they do decide to hit you with a depressing and sorrowful episode, it always succeeds to make most of the audience cry. For this reason, this episode is a masterpiece. =) No idea how the last episode will play out, but fingers crossed a third season will be confirmed. |

I would have preferred to have Ishigami's backstory told quicker (we've had been teased for a few episodes already) so that we could have moved to other character but most of all... ALL ON BOARD THE IINO X ISHIGAMI SHIP Also I kinda missing some relationship between characters. I mean OK Kaguya X Miyuki got to an advance point, so let's look at the other characters ! |

| This episode... Damn, I had high expectations from the manga, but it went far and beyond those. You can really tell the animators love this series with a passion. 10/10 episode My only real gripes were that they removed the scene with Kaguya bringing up Ishigami in the Student Council room and Miko standing up for him in Middle School. Other than that this was a perfect episode |
