| Nana ending 6 "winter sleep." The video is extremely simple, but the song is what sells this to me. Whenever i hear it i get a melancholic feeling as i remember the events of Nana. Then proceed to get sad that i'll probably never see an ending to this amazing story. |

| there are a lot of EDs that are memorable for me... but one ED I have to give credit to the ED for the first season of Tokyo Ghoul. After all, all of the usernames I use online are it... "Seijatachi" I wouldn't say its my favourite, but I feel like I just have to give credit, its literally my online persona now, all my online friends all me Seija for short and when ive met them in real life at cons they sometime accidently call me that because theyre so used to it. |

Undoubtedly an iconic song to end on. Plus the pillows make some kickass music all on their own. Talk about smooth, like butter smooth. The orchestral instrumentation plus the vocals is absolutely killer. |

| Definitely Aku no Hana. It's effing creepy, but at the same time it.. goes hard? It's minimalist, the rhythm of the spoken words slaps, and the tone of the vocal effects and the strings are on point, and compliment the atmosphere of the show very well. And I always loved that the outro music would start before the episode had completely ended, creating this cool transition effect |

| I find it interesting to think about how well they coincide with my overall opinion of the show or not. As far as capturing the spirit of the show, I'd say there's definitely a higher rate of OPs over EDs I enjoy for that purpose, but I definitely have a core favorite of EDs that remain pretty unchallenged on their perch to date (some I might even prefer over their show's OP, depending): Haibane Renmei ED - Blue Flow Koi Kaze ED - Futari Dakara Shiki ED - Walk No Yakosoku Happy Sugar Life ED - Sweet Hurt Ie Naki Ko Remy ED - Shiawase no Yokan Sora no Woto ED - Girls, Be Ambitious! | I have a short memory so I'm sure there are TONS of amazing ones including MANY better than the three I'm about to mention but the first three that come to mind are Black Clover's 1st ED and Overlord's 2nd/3rd EDs. But this is based off strictly the music, the visuals weren't anything special. Sometime after I'm done watching everything on my Plan to Watch list I gotta go through all the shows I've seen and jot down which ones have the best OPs/EDs. |
