No, it's fine how it is, no need of a japanese remake.

"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."

I Think It Was Fine, there's no need to remake or it will end badly or disappoint.

Your profile page already shows you are a degenerate so im cancelling your argument (if "i like japanese lolis so everything should be drawn like that" can be considered an argument).

Also dafuq is japanese style.
Not every single anime has the same artwork even if a lot of them are similar.

Check out my taste and my profile.

Well, Lilo & Stitch had an anime, so anything's possible.

What benefit would it add though that doesn't already exist? It's already one of the most critically acclaimed American cartoons in television history, launched a whole franchise with a sequel/spinoff show, comics, etc. And even though it isn't an anime because it's not an original Japanese or East Asian creation, it was so obviously inspired by anime and East Asian music, art, and cinema. American creative teams had been trying to replicate the success of anime by creating a cartoon with a larger story and serialized format (a continuing story) for many years and Avatar wasn't even the first attempt (see Exosquad).

It's set in a sort of alternate history or fantastical version of Asia (Fire Nation is Empire of Japan, Earth Kingdom is Qing dynasty China, Air Nation is Buddhist South Asians of Tibet or Nepal, and Water Tribes are Inupiaq or Inuits; similar to how many high fantasies are based off medieval Europe). So how much more Asian can you make it? Just have it acted in Japanese? What would that accomplish?

Naw, I don't think ATLA should be touched any more.

Yes, I really think so. With the right studio ATLA could be a great show if adapted by an anime studio, the fights, the story, the romance would be great if shown through eastern style not western style.
Isn't it already regarded as like half an anime series? I'm not really sure how you'd classify fights/story/romance as "eastern style" vs "western style".

Isn't ATLA already inspired by anime and its styles? What would a Japanese remake do differently?

I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to it happening, but for what purpose? The show is fine on it's own, just remaking it with a slightly more Eastern style won't make it better or worse.

Now one show that could benefit from that approach is She-Ra. Talk about horrible art design that Dreamworks approved.

Avatar was already influenced by japonese Animation, so I don't think it need an anime. It's perfect the way it is

The only improvement would be that the characters can bleed more. But that still doesn't make it worth it.

It's already good as it is, we don't need a remake of any sort. Although I'm not completely opposed to the idea

We got a flopped movie, then we got The Legend of Korra (which was good in my opinion) and a new netflix show coming up....isn't that enough ? No need to milk a great franchise, I say leave it be. 🙏 #No

No, that would be a sham. That's like asking if you wanted your favorite anime to have an american cartoon version of it.

It's like trying to milk the franchise to dry. Also did you try to compare it to legend of korra?

No, for the exact reason I don't want an American style cartoon of Toradora. It was great because all the elements in its creation lined up to make quality work, including the culture that spawned it. So trying to make the same framework work through the lens of another culture is just bound to fail most of the time. Besides the fact that Avatar's already pretty similar to anime in a lot of respects, so it wouldn't give them a lot of room to differentiate it anyways.

Yes finally someone said it. Of course it should. While the original isn't an anime, the japanese definitely should make it in to one.

It's already anime styled. Just watch it in Japanese dub and it's full on anime.

It's fine the way it is, although I'd probably end up watching the Japanese adaptation or remake, anyway.
