Hello people ~

Are you the kind of person to hoard stuff?
Hoarding is accumulating items to a certain amount.
Such an amount might be deemed unnecessary or obsessive.
And such a behaviour might be triggered by disorders or else.

I personally hoard newspapers when receiving them through snail mail.
Though they're advertisements, I can't pass up on them.
My excuse being, on the moment, that I may analyse how they advertise.
Needless to say I never do ~

Also, while devising plans to sell a good, I thought:
Perhaps, hoarding and collectionning are cousins.

Might this be a viable economic model?
For instance, using hoarding, trauma-caused, and emotional attachment:
A waifu in an anime dies tragically after being made really lovely.
The consumer is traumatised a bit by her death.
The otaku community seems to take pride in collectionning material goods.
Otaku goods about a trauma-inducing character might sell really well.
Profit exists ~

Share with us what you seem to collect with no real purpose, too, if so you wish!

P.S- Stop typing in purple because it hurts my eyes and I can't see shit. Thnx.

Nothing really, though I due have old papers and handouts from school sticking out of my bag because I'm too lazy to organize.
I also still have all my toys from my childhood shoved in a closet, though that's probably also laziness.
Not that I've tried throwing it out. Maybe I am just holding onto youthful innocence or something.
Preserving memories isn't necessarily a bad thing as I've seen it presented as.

I can see you

Same, handouts sticking out my bag. Same laziness. Even my school documentation remains by my side.
For toys, I conserved few: Pokemon figures as doorsteps, and some marbles because that's the noice. Also a few Pokemon cards that I'll eventually sell?
Don't think I'm holding onto youthful innocence, as I don't think I've been so innocent...
Preserving memories is an excellent thing for a writer or a person needing a filled imaginary, or a person whose main prospect of happiness is nostalgia.

i'm bad at getting rid of childhood things - whether that's because of the nostalgia, or because i'm fucking lazy, i don't know. i now buy things less though, in the hopes it'll decrease this type of 'hoarding' in the future.

I collect comics along with some books and other assorted trinkets. However, I wouldn't consider myself a hoarder. If something is old and can't be fixed I toss it. If i have no desire to keep something I will either donate it or sell it. I know lots of people who have boxes of junk lining their houses to the point you cannot walk through it without bumping into something. Personally I consider that hoarding since it impedes the cleanliness of one's home. Whereas a collector keeps their items in good condition and out of travel lanes.

I do hoard things with the intent of using it in the future. Rarely does this pan out and I end up doing an audit every now and then.

my grandma was a hoarder (a non messy one)
my mother has hoarding problems with certain things i.e. clothes (a less messy one)
i have a tendency to not to want to throwaway anything (and am messier than both of the aforementioned)

its not the only problem my family genetically or generally but it is a problem
