So I guess we won't see Ogata for some time? Still hoping for a redemption but I see it less and less happening... :(

And god damn it Tsurumi.... isn't there just one person in the army you didn't mess around with?

I don't think Ogata is ever gonna get one. He's rotten to the core.

So it's safe to assume the Tsurumi was behind this kidnapping?

Also glad that neither Koito or Ogata was killed, because I was worried one would take out the other in that situation.

Sugimoto has the worst aim. Pretty sure he aimed for Ogata.
But I'm glad to see Ogata escape. I'm sure he won't be back for a while but hopefully we'll eventually learn his motives for the gold/sticking around this whole time.

I really liked this chapter.

Can't really argue about that. He kinda crossed the line when he pointed the gun at Asirpa.

I'm just glad that Ogata still lives and he didn't kill Koito... because i wouldn't be able to like him anymore if he did....but i'm sad because we won't be seeing him for a while now, i'll be missing his passive character in all the funny Scenes...

that raises some questions. why didn't he KILL him? he is not a moral kind i'm sure he wanted to kill him but suppress the urge for some reasons i really can't shake it off it all links to tsurumi.. they might aprears like enemies but ogata is such an ambiguous character and no one can read his motives

Those of us that reached this point have lived long enough to catch a clearer glimpse of Ogata's dick.

If that's not an achievement then I don't know what is.

I thought he didn't kill him because Shiraishi and Tanigaki where outside and he was afraid that they might hear the Gunshot....but maybe there is another reason....deep inside i still hope that Ogata does have a heart...but that would make more sense if the one on the Floor was Shiraishi or Asirpa, with whom he spent some time...even though, he did point his gun to Asirpa...but no one knows if he really wanted to shoot her or if he just wanted to provoke her so she shoots him....but.. he did try to kill Sugimoto, even though he spend some time with him too... so yeah... but i'm still hoping.. Ogata... become a good Character!

Tsurumi be like, mission accomplished and great that Ogata is still in the game, can't wait for his return.

At the beginning of the manga it was stated that Ogata would rather wound the enemy to slow down/demoralise their companion to make his escape.

And he of course proved he doesn't shy away from killing but IMO he also isn't someone who takes pleasure in doing it. So he does only if the situation calls for it.

@SaKuYa regarding spending time with Sugimoto: He clearly said he doesn't like him. He even said he doesn't trust the whole group. So he may kill everyone if he needs to.
But I think he later showed some affection/respect towards Asirpa by saying citatap and hinna hinna. Something he at first refused to do. She might be the only exception.

So I think he still is a grey... very very dark shade of grey character.

I love how Noda uses the same perspective and layout, as well as russian insult to let us know that Ogata was the one kidnapping Koito:

Ngl I thought OG Missing brain bit buddy was just so wacky that people were naturally drawn to him, but it's clear now that everything he's doing is definitely thought out and he is purposefully doing things. He doesn't seem as goofy right now, in these flashbacks at least.
