| I don't care about them most of times. Like, they tend to be there just for traps jokes and little more. I think the only one I liked was Hideri from Blend S, since he was genuinely funny and had some personal goal and ambitions, other than being there just to be a joke (in fact, I remember they only used the "you're a guy?!" thing once or twice in the series), who made him a bit memorable. Liking them sexually if you are a male is also gay too. However, again, there's nothing wrong with being gay :^) |

| I fucking hate them, since these characters revolve around a shitty and overused joke (omg! That "girl" is actually a guy!) in anime almost all the time, which I find annoying. Also, I prefer male characters to dress like men and not women, whether they look masculine or feminine. The memes are even worse than the traps themselves. | I find some to be quite appealing to be honest. If the traps themselves feel comfortable with it and aren't being forced into other gendered clothing then who am I to stop them from wearing w/e they want to. If Hideri from Blend S wants to wear skirts because he believes women make better idols, more power to him Plus it looks great on him. |

Do these traps give a bit of shock value to an anime or do you guys already have some sort of "trap radar" where you can automatically tell if he/she is a trap and you're not fazed by it like before? I don't dislike them per se, but the "haha gotchu you were sexually attracted to a boy the whole time" never got me. Just kinda weird. | The trope is overused. It often just feels like lazy character design when they draw a girl and say it's actually a guy and vice versa for reverse traps. They often are poorly written characters. There can be good traps too though. |

| Traps in Anime have been mostly used as a means for comedy or fetish purposes so a majority of them will fall flat for me, aside from a few special exceptions but those exceptions are a very small margin so seeing a more serious and honest take on traps in Anime would be nice (well just more serious takes with crossdresser characters in Anime, rather than being there for gags or fetish purposes, not that I mind the 2nd option since tbh I am more surprised when some H content for them is sometimes more wholesome lol) |
