Anyone here play OW? I play on PC NA. What are your favorite characters to play? |

I used to play Overwatch (DVA main), but I eventually got bored with it. After a while the game got pretty old, not to mention I really didn't like the cosmetics system and how grindy it was to get new skins for characters I want w/out shelling for microtransactions. |

I haven’t played it in a long time. Game went downhill after season 5. Completely died after the introduction of private profiles in season 9. Blizzard clearly stopped caring about it, so most moved on. |

But I do get what ya mean. I guess another thing that didn't help things was that the friends whom I played OW with originally weren't really into it too much, and it ended up being really boring solo. |

I used to play Overwatch on the PC (EU), not so much anymore. Although I played it a few weeks ago with a friend and I was quite fond of Ash. Otherwise i'm just your average Soldier main because aim is my strong point thanks to FPS. |

Ashe and Sombra are fun DPS, I like the sound Sombra's weapon makes when you get a bunch of headshots in a row. Reinhardt's a fun tank because once you get close enough you can spank the enemy team for standing too close together. Lucio's fun on a lot of maps cause you can boop their whole team off the side... Just last night I got a POTG where i booped four of their guys off at once and got 3 ult shutdowns on Lixiang. _Ako_ said: Sorry, I play Paladins, which is in fact far superior than OW Don't you have to buy voice lines in Paladins? I only got cosmetics on free loot boxes they give whrn you reach certain lvl. Though I am quite tilted that they had the Rekt loot boxes and made "Deal of the Day" event instead of able of buying it using crystal you have to pay money. One time I check the rekt spray was in that deal of the day... |

I still play it, though I am apparently part of the reason why everyone else seems to have left. (I'm a deranker.) I took a break from it last year for about 6 months, but then got back to it. OW is what I play when I feel like being social. I can fully appreciate why other people are quitting, the game isn't all that great, if it wasn't for friends I wouldn't be playing it anymore either. |

I used to play a lot, and my play time kept going down over the past year and now it's been almost 6 months since I last played. I normally play with my friends and now I don't really get anyone to play with so I kinda stopped playing as well. Maybe if the GOATS meta ends, I might consider trying to get back into the game. |

Haven't played Overwatch in a while, I was super into it though. I usually played as Roadhog cause I absolutely loved his ability to grab people with his hook and bring them closer. I also like to play as Tracer, Soldier 76, Junkrat. I also try to play as Genji and Hanzo but they're more difficult to play as. |

I've stopped playing Overwatch and deleted my Blizzard account to make sure I don't get into the game again Blizzard just doesn't know how to run their games now (and it's even worse that they're owned by Activision). They've done the same event reruns with really no new features and their balancing of heroes are trash (last I was there, it was the GOATs meta) Now they're trying to squeeze the last few hopes of the game with Overwatch 2 but I don't really see it happening when all the hype for Overwatch has died Honestly, they'd probably do better if they made a T.V. series or some movies out of it because those are more appealing than the actual gameplay |

No. There's really no point in playing games like that. Extremely repetitive and no satisfaction or feeling of accomplishment when playing it. This just means it's a massive waste of time. The gameplay is pretty boring, and the characters were just lame LoL ripoffs. Especially couldn't stand it when I died and had to walk all the way back to the battlefield. Too boring for me. |

I played that game regularly in 2016-2017 era. I thought character designs and gameplay was pretty unique, even though everybody said that it was a TF2 ripoff. I played tf2 a lot back in day and never felt that way while playing Overwatch. I still remember how fun the game was. Eventually I was bored like everyone in here and moved on. |

Used to play it with the same group of friends every week, and eventually, it just got repetitive and boring. We then found ourselves having more fun with other games. Also, I guess Blizzard's recent controversies didn't exactly make me wanna get back into it. Still, back in the day, I like playing Junkrat and Reaper. |
"You know you've reached peak quality when a doujin is better than the actual source series." (Eg. To LOVE-Ru) Just to list a couple of biases. Likes: A good story, characters, writing, romance, a good plot twist or something that breaks expectations (In a good way), 'backstory' and justice. Dislikes: Bad romance, too much fanservice, the harem genre, yuri, yaoi, and bad writing. |

Must admit it was my Gaming obsession for a year or two. Unfortunately I pretty much lost interest sometime after Moira and before Baptiste became playable characters. I've been somewhat thinking of going back recently but... it's basically almost like learning the game from scratch to me. Even a few familiar characters have changed so much they might as well be new. |

I randomly checked some news on OW recently and they seem to be experimenting with Hero rotations? Anyways, I quit the game back in March 2018 so it's almost been 2 years. This used to be a great game during the first two or so seasons. Back then, people had fun and were messing around with all type of builds. I wish Blizzard didn't build the game revolving around the E-sports scene. My mains were Lucio, DVA, Symmetra, Roadhog, and occasionally Rein. |

I mostly play Quick Play now. I was playing from day 1 and played competitive for 17 seasons straight. I was usually mid diamond level but sometimes made it to Master. I would practice characters I wasn’t great with on smurf accounts and they ranged from Gold to Plat though my Widowmaker was in Silver. I stopped playing Overwatch as much when Apex Legends came out. And then a few months later I decided to start making more of an effort with my other hobbies (Hi MAL). Fav characters: D.Va, Wreckingball, Tracer, Ana, Mercy, Pharah. I have a lot of hours played. Over 700 hours across my accounts. |

That game is such a massive waste of potential. I used to play but then started to only come back for the seasonal events but then started to only came for when new characters were released and now I don't even do that. My main issue is that Overwatch has the most garbage busted competitive matchmaking system I have ever played in my life. I would win 7 or 8 placement matches each season yet my rank never rose. I would completely and utterly carry my team every match getting all the Golds (except in healing of course but when I played Support I'd get that as well as still get Silvers/Bronze in everything else) yet my ranked always stayed the same because I'd usually only solo queue (meaning you're stuck with around a 50% win rate average). I refuse to play a game where skill isn't rewarded. Meanwhile over in Free For All surprise surprise I think I immediately ranked into Diamond and in 1 v 1 out of 100+ matches I lost maybe two or three at most. Overwatch 2's normal competitive mode NEEDS to take into account player skill for me to even consider buying the game. If you lose a match but were BY FAR the highest performing player on either team you shouldn't lose as many points as the rest of your team. It's absolutely mind blowing they're so trash at programming a decent matchmaking system, I don't see other games having this issue (like Halo 3 for example even when if I got bad teams I was still able to keep climbing in rank). |

Used to play it a lot more than I do now. Back during the first 5 seasons I played over a hundred hours and haven't really gotten back into it since. When I do play, I am a healer main. My favorite to play is Zen, but I'll also play Mercy or Lucio depending on the map and team composition. |

I *tried* to get into Overwatch but I found it boring. The closest I came to have fun with it was with the Bakugan Hamster thing and then I realized I could be having more fun playing Paladins, TF2 or literally anything that allows and rewards creativity rather than being stuck on Mr. Bones Wild Ride (Shit I think you can be more creative in CoD than in fucking Overwatch). |
