That's good to hear at least summer wasn't horrid.
And not really mostly been playing VN's though I did pick up playing Paladins and L4D2 again now that I have a powerful PC as well as starting Senran Kagura.
Though I do want to find more good multiplayer games and such.
Thanks, and I've been doing pretty alright need to catch up on series I've been either falling behind on or need to start, been rewatching alot of things as usual and been playing on steam quite a bit recently.
Yeah, I get what you mean. Can't really blame you either. Searching for new, undiscovered works takes a lot of time and effort. If your goal is to only consume things you actually like, then it might be better to stick with what you know you'll like. Stuff like Evangelion is still amazing after all.
Hmm, that's a tough one... A lot of the games I discovered back in the day such as Mr. Gimmick! and The Guardian Legend have become fairly known holy grails since then. I'd say Esper Dream 2 on the Famicom is still pretty hidden. That game is amazing, go give it a try some time if you like RPGs. Two other series that I feel like never quite got the attention they truly deserve are Splatterhouse and D. The first Splatterhouse game is one of my favorite games of all time and is a prime example of how to incorporate a gripping story into the gameplay itself. D no Shokotaku on the other hand is a more cinematic experience. It's an FMV game where you go around a mansion, solving puzzles and watch as the story unfolds. The atmosphere is simply incredible and Kenji Eno, the man behind the game, is an idol of mine. Shame he passed away too early.
Edit: As for anime, my greatest discovery has probably been Flying Luna Clipper. That's not to say that it's my all-time favorite (that spot goes to Kobato) however, finding and watching it for the first time was a magical experience. It's seriously the most "me" anime ever created. It's hard to explain, but you might like it if you like retro games. It retains a lot of the same appeal as games from that era do for me.
Man, there are quite a few I can pick from. My favorite video game series would have to be Mother, with Shin Megami Tensei as a very close second. Those games speak to me on a personal level more than any other game has.
As for a singular entry... Probably Terranigma on the Super Nintendo. The combat, story, and technical aspects of that game are simply out of this world. JRPGs are my favorite overall, but I also really like platformers and 2D shooters have grown a lot on me recently.
Generally I tend to gravitate more towards obscure games. Same thing goes with anime. The journey of finding something weird that literally no one has heard about is part of the fun for me. Even if the game isn't exactly the greatest in the gameplay department. I'd much rather take the risk of playing something unusual than pick something safe that everyone already knows about and loves.
Finding a job ofcourse and after that I will live on my own.
I might in live on my own or with some friends in the 3rd or 4th year but I will see once I get to that year.
I do hope to get a job involving technology for computers (if that's how you call it in english.)
