| I think I remember Mikaze blowing up a floatie in Stratos 4. Not sure though, and I can't tell you what episode. Also ran across something I think is from one of the SAO movies, where someone lets the air out of someone else's floatie. Kinda the opposite of what you're looking for though. But yeah, I guess you're right, the floaties just sorta appear out of nowhere. I guess everyone thinks they're boring to blow up or something. Or everyone uses electric pumps because blowing things up by mouth is honestly kinda annoying. Either that or they just buy them from those seaside stores that leave a bunch of floaties pre-inflated on display. |

Kidding, it's because it's a mundane everyday activity, and if the writers have to rely on having a beach episode they probably are incapable of making something like that fun or interesting. |
