This is a major spoiler so continue only if you want to know the truth. Shield hero was falsely accused not because he was proved guilty or because he is weak actually they didn't care much about whether he was innocent or guilty they just needed an excuse to punish him the real reason why they hate him is. Reason: Because he is the shield hero, Yes the country melromarc hates shield hero because he is worshipped as a god in its neighboring country known as siltvelt which consists of demi humans These two countries are archenemies who are in constant war from centuries and many people were killed, women were abducted, raped and so on both countries suffered similar losses and hatred towards each other only grew over the time passes by. Shield hero is loved by all demi humans which is the majority race in siltvelt hence the original four hero church was split into two as three heroes church was established in melromarc which is the main religion in this country and it despises the demi humans and shield hero to their bone(This is the main reason, they just needed an excuse to punish him). Hence demi humans are treated as slaves in this country. The other part of the church which was split is established in siltvelt as the shield hero church which is the main religion of this country hence they love shield hero as their god and hate other three heroes and all humans so they are treated as slaves in their country. Shield hero was summoned in the wrong country to begin with. |

Sounds very stupid and obvious bait for people with victim complexes. I think I'll stay away from this show. I don't mean to detract from the enjoyment of the people who are into this of course. |

The light novel was even "worse" because you had to read and understand everything happening (much different than just watching it unfold) so you ended up hating all of those that set you up, and it makes the sweet "victory" that much more impactful. However, after the first episode - spoilers! I remember the novel moving into a much nicer direction. It becomes more about the relationship between Naofumi and the character that you see at the very end. The revenge bit shouldn't come back into play strongly until later |

I created this thread to answer ANNwhatevershit kind of guys who don't know the reason for False accusation and says it never happens in reality lol are they stupid To begin with does everything happen in anime occur in real life and false accusation was a set up to begin with so of course it wouldnt feels real. The victimization part you speak doesn't have much value in the overall story since naofumi is part evil and ruthless which takes away the image of victimised, should protect and weak kind of images of him(those who read WN and LN will know this) |

I don't think haters are very worried about the seasonal isekai fanboys tbh. The simple fact that there are haters to an anime means that this will become even more popular which makes me happy, the fact that number of people following this anime has reached 112k+ proves that. It's just a matter of time before it reach the number 1 spot on MAL this season so I kind of owe haters for making this happen. Even if they don't care about people like me (fanboys) i care about them. |

When will the other great isekai is come out. If it out after this we can still enjoy it without distraction. But the plus or advantage of Tate No yushaa is 1. It has Nice Graphic hence by Kinema Citrus 2. Great OST by Penkin Kevin Kumo desuga have CGI and it will make it less popular although the CGI is pretty enjoyable except for some character Arifueta the story is promising but i need some research to compare it with tate no yushaa |

The anime won't even come close to doing it justice in the LN and manga you can feel the tension in the anime it will just ruin it entirely and that minus the cgi dragon |

That sound like arifureta, cause if I know anything about that show is that it basicly re:monster level plot after cp 5 so comparing that too tate which actually good is like... Really??? Or could it be other revenge isekai that I don't know of? That somehow got an anime adaptation? Please tell me than I'm interested to see just how "good" it is, most revenge isekai I see are shit which the only exception being tate no yuusha, akuya reijo ni koi wo shite, and my death flag show no sign of ending as the only exception |

Anyway, it's got nothing to do with me being "triggered" or controversial elements being present in the story. It has everything to do with how it's implemented and how strong the writing is. Whether it wants to tell a story that uses themes of social hierarchy to the fullest or whether it is simply pandering with shock factor. Anyway, I plan on staying away unless my initial reaction to the show was or becomes mistaken. I didn't mean to offend you. Sorry for entering the echo chamber. |

It's just a matter of time before it reach the number 1 spot on MAL this season so I kind of owe haters for making this happen. Even if they don't care about people like me (fanboys) i care about them. Do you realize no one will care about this once the next Isekai power fantasy will come out though. If you are talking about arifureta then I am a huge fan of that series too so i don't see any problem in that. No, I'm talking about the isekai after that. That one is different from other isekai and actually good. Then it must be kenja no mago which is a great isekai but I can already imagine haters bashing it down since the beginning of that series is very generic but gets better later on. No, it's the one after it. It's really good, the main character is hated by everyone but later gets revenge on society. It's very refreshing, not your everyday Isekai. Which one is it .......its not the one where his life gets reset and starts from being summoned and the first thing he does is beat the shit out of one of the people that betrayed him slowly and painfully is it ??? I get it this time. It's called nidome no yuusha but I don't know whether we are getting anime adaptation of that or not. That? Yall call this a good isekai? Lol okay. You got something better? Aside from Hataraku Maou-Sama? |

To summarize what I recall from the novel, Shield Hero has an "everyone in the world is against me" beginning, followed by a bunch of rival dudes conceding and apologizing to the protagonist in acknowledgement of his greatness, followed by a lot of pointless harem fuckery and bad comedy, concluding with a tremendously bad living God(s) vs living God final battle. Not the worst work out there, but little more than generic wish fulfillment for NEETs and other awkward folk. Definitely not the "thinking out of the box" isekai that some are trying to play it off as on MAL and elsewhere. |

The author of the Light Novel is a women. So the sjws argument that the anime is some kind of plot against women is not only absurd but flawed an this is a interview with the author: http://www.onepeacebooks.com/profiles/aneko.html |

Yes but only in the beginning That shit gets solved fast once the queen gets on the scene. Also there's the weapon smith bro and melty who's pretty much Naofumi's ally even before the queen. I agree with you there but this one is properly written and doesn't seem like wish-fulfillment shit. At least it's trying to tell an actual story. |

The simple fact that there are haters to an anime means that this will become even more popular which makes me happy, the fact that number of people following this anime has reached 112k+ proves that. This was actualy one of the first 'isekai' stuff to come out, it just got a very late anime. For starters the protagonist is not OP, that alone is a huge plus, only series who ever managed to get the 'op protag' thing right was one punch man, and that was it. |

Ok what's the name of the series? Also for the love of god, Shield hero is NOT A REVENGE STORY. It's a hero's journey kind of story. Yeah it isn't a revenge story since it only part of the overall story of how he ends the waves of calamity and save the world. Some people be like I know the entire story of the series from just episode 1 lol we can't find anyone more ignorant than that. |

It's perfectly fine if people don't like or want to watch the series for it's sometimes amoral depictions or the fact that it's another isekai, but the fact that people are stretching their criticisms beyond that is flawed, but not unsurprising. I'm tired of isekais myself and even though this series does have some twist to the generic formula, it's probably won't be enough for me to finish the entirety of the show. |

True but the amount of attention it is getting because of certain people is clear indication that it's not your typical isekai since no one cares about them. |
