| Not a grown up. I live with my mom, I don't have a job, I'm an university student, I don't have any major responsibilities. I'm an 18 years old kid. And if we talking about the video. Fuck that, I don't even care about having a luxury car. Yeah, they look really good, but not something I would die for. That's like the most west coasty video I've ever seen. I disagree with most of the video's sayings. Getting married? You don't have to marry someone to "grow up". Get a real job? Just because I can earn money by doing what I love and you may find it effortless just because I don't look burned out because I actually like what I'm doing, doesn't means my job is not a "real job". |

| Old soul with the heart of a child, I say. That being said, I do feel myself becoming more mature in many aspects. It doesn't take away from the fun, though, it mostly adds to it. I'd say I consider myself an adult, albiet a young one, and if anyone tells me to "grow up", then, at this point, they're a stick in the mud who has never known fun. |

| Some people think that being mature is about "not being childish" and trying to appear serious and adult-like, whereas I'd say you're way more mature if you're not afraid to be child-like at times. I don't feel like a grown-up even though I take care of my insurance, have had job interviews and jobs, have an investment plan, have traveled alone, know how to do the housework, know how taxes work, make my own phone calls and appointments etc... But I'm still an 18-year-old high school girl & feel like a kid. If being an adult is really about becoming bitter and serious, I'd rather stay a child lol. |
