Additionally, some gambling anime pull interesting twists as a part of their game so try Kaiji and maybe Akagi for the same author... Though the latter kinda requires you to know mahjong. Shinsekai Yori also has some 'oh snap' moments, but that's slower pace.
Personally the biggest most unexpected twist that I experienced was in the middle of Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, but that series is nowhere near as flashy as the other ones I'm recommending.
Ahh.. Actually i already finished reading Death Note long ago, i did watch the LA movies
but i never actually watch the anime series.
I think i've watched a movie called Kaiji The Ultimate gambler and it's pretty good, i think i'll give it a try. I've tried watching Shinsekai Yori if i recall it right from my memories the artstyle not consistent and shounen ai is not really my cup of tea.
I really wanted to watch Ginga Eiyuu, it's already sitting in my plan to watch list getting dusty. i hope i can find the right time to watch such a long series.

The plot twist accurs near the end of the series tho... So you can just continue to read the anime for more plot twists.
OMG WAIT there was a season 2 which is fking bad drawn totally different from season 1 I really couldn't look at it ughh... No hate tho I got used to it later. But I also recommend to continue with the manga.
I've watched first few episode of D.gray-man when their chief trying to make a big robot, i think i'll caught from where i left.

Is it fine if i just watch the newest series? won't there any gap in the story or characters?

I already watch the 3 movies, I don't know if i'll watch the series if the story is pretty much the same
HiraKey said:After looking your list, i think you should watch all of Urobuchi Gen's work like:
- Fate/Zero (This is the best action anime for me, and of course the best Fate)
- Madoka Magica
- Guilty Crown
- Aldnoah Zero
- and Urobuchi Gen's other works
If you want to try the others maybe you should watch:
- Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
- SteinsGate
- Death Note
- Code Geass
Hope you'll like that
I've watch them, except Aldnoah Zero S2

Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works
Eureka Seven
Made in Abyss
Mirai Nikki
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
I've seen plenty of better plot twists, but these are the ones that were really unexpected.
My friend recommended about Eureka Seven long ago i've watched first few chapter, i think i'll give it another shot. Already put Made in Abyss in my PTW i think it's about time to watch it.

Code Geass has some of the best plot twists in history.
I absolutely love Code Geass! It's the first anime that ever give me a complex feeling, i want to give it a try with CG Akito but i didn't want to ruin the image the Code Geass that i know and i know i'll be disappointed if i watch it.
Anyway thank you all for recommending it for me
