| Biggest thing with the art style to me is that all the girls look like blobs now and faces are slightly off? like the TNK style was better because it was rigid and the characters didn't look like they could melt when exposed to heat. |

| I am disappointed that they changed the art style and studio. Suddenly dropping this bomb on us after waiting 3 years. However because this is one of my favorite shows, I'll forgive it as long as it has the same quality as the previous seasons. |

I agree that the studios didnt do a great job on the other animes (director also) but its still too early to say this season of dxd will get shit. | Well, the new art style in my opinion looks very good. Much better than 3rd season, and even better than 1st and 2nd. It just fits better. But well, lets wait and lets find out if it really does ;) |

The main problem I had with Fmab was the very bad start which just left an awful taste in my mouth for the whole series. I had very high expectations of this show. I watched it up to ep 8 and thought it was the worst show I have ever watched. Then I proceeded with watching 1 ep and skip the other one until around ep 18 where things got better. Overall: 1-18 = 1/10 19- around 36 = 6.9 37- end = 7.6 The start was too trash to give it a higher score |

| I was on the fence about the new artstyle, but seeing the PVs actually reassured me. The animation looks great tbh. What bothers me are the new studio and staff members. Here's hoping that it would stick to the LN most of the time. |

This may sound weird but I just don't think that I am able to fap to a akeno anymore. She was best girl for me. She was like a hot older girl and I'm so into that.. At least koneko looks cuter. Ugh I hope my d*** accepts this. |

DxD was ridiculed for having a very old looking art style that belonged in the early 2000's Good to hear, it so cringe worthy when non japanese fan on ishibumi twiter page asking him to change the artwork for the anime lol |

| Something that differentiated DxD from other harem was its design, it is true that now it is more attached to the novels but it does not have that special touch. The de rias is the worst, it is the typical design of any hentai, it even looks like Otome Dori. |

| Then your not a true fan if you can't except it and its MORE CLOSER to the novels. Like there are other anime with changed animation, like Fairy Tail, Sailor Moon and Love Hina and they turned out good. Also look at Rias and do a comparison with the novels.   |

| I am not "a big fan", but I felt entertained by seasons 1 + 2, and bored, partly annoyed by season 3 (annoying: Koneko being all lovey-dovey AND no more melee fighting, just throwing boring magic flashes) So, now I wonder SPEERS said: Having read DxD's LNs for fucking years now I can tell you it's mainly a wacky action comedy with some fanservice sprinkled in with a pre-established harem end. And I do mean to emphasize the wacky and comedy parts. Oh, that sounds nice. I liked the 1st season for comedy + ecchi mix ('twas the first time I saw such thing ever, was on TV, bluray version) 2nd season seemed to lower amount of comedy, for more character-centric drama - not really bad. (+ Azazeel very nice addition) 3rd season I dropped it on episode 10 or so, because boring - neither comedy, nor character-centric drama, ... nada. not interested. So would you say that season 4 will be good (again) for someone like me? |
