I really love this show not cuz of ecchi stuff but cuz of the amazing plot and the fighting scenes are well written. Whenever I thought that this not getting s5 would be really sad and heartbreaking cuz I want to see the whole series in animation. Also I don't know how it will feel to read the fight scenes in LN

New seasons for anime almost solely depend on how well the dvd's sell, as it's how the show makes most of it's profit. I believe the author of the series has even stated that he wants a 5th Season to happen, but it can only happen if the DVD's sell well. So if the series sells well enough for them to re-release the blu-rays, especially after so long, it could mean something. It could also not tho tbf but there is a possibility

While that is true, blu-ray boxes get released all the time for series that ended forever ago, so I don't see how this means anything.

@MadanielFL doesn't really matter because uncensored ecchi shows nowadays almost never get sequels in this decade. Harem in the labyrinth and Redo of Healer had strong bd sales but you don't see a sequel in site. Most governments, especially the key chiense government, would ban this material. Merchandise companies don't want to touch series like these.

@Ionliosite2 the producers are just trying to milk money from hero, (which was poorly received especially due to art style). Most merchandise companies don't want their name associated with a show that has full female frontal nudity. Governments would ban this. We saw this in Australia.

@MadanielFL actually. That is surprising to hear. Regardless, uncensored anime doesn't sell that good in blu-ray thanks to internet porn sites. Hard ecchi anime will need several times the blu ray sales since most merchandise companies don't want their name associated.

This is the best marketing strategy for anime blu-rays (and something I pre-ordered myself). Keep characters a secret from marketing and lock a pvc figure with the blu-ray. This is how DAL V is right now ranking #1 on blu ray pre orders.
