| Jesus that flashback... had to skip literally almost everything just to get to the juicy parts. This is actually good! PS: a technique I learned to enjoy this more is mute the damn show and it fucking worked. |

| Exposition episode...blah blah, they can afford to pick up the pace a bit. also Asta's voice is still worse than nails on a chalkboard. I have never had such a visceral reaction to a VA as much as Asta's |

| So much wasted space in this episode between the episode 1 recap, OP, and the flashback that mostly gave us stuff we already knew. All we needed was the scene where Asta saves Yuno and Yuno becomes more confident and then we could get back to the present time action. I actually kinda enjoyed the first episode (yeah I know) so I'll keep watching. Just no more useless flashbacks please. |

| Silva's getting a lot of screentime in the opening. Not sure why she feels so out of place though, the visuals make her look like from a different series. Reminds me of Berserk for some reason. Oh and 'they' jiggle. And holy fuck this episode was terrible. To think they needed to make the flashback bit that long, and it's only the 2nd episode for fuck sake. |

| I love the manga and I also do like the anime so far with the exception for Asta's VA, but I'm just gonna assume he'll get better the more expierence he gets playing Asta... Noteable this episode was that the studio is already dragging a simple flashback out, I indeed also not thought it was this long in the manga, or for that sake even at this part in the story but I could be mistaking as it's been a while since I started reading it ;). Regardless because I love the manga I also enjoyed this episode. |

| It was hard already to watch the first episode, but I liked the premise and decided to give another episode. To my surprise it's a useless flashback that doesn't tell us anything new, maybe when it's over and by some unknown reason this turn out to be the new Hunter x Hunter I'll watch it, otherwise never touching this again. 4/10 |
| wow, that was actually impressive. i was like "holy shit that voice is annoying" in episode 1, but then in episode 2 (after the RECAP THAT LASTS OVER 3 MINUTES LOOOOOL) i was like "oh man they're doing a flashback so someone different will have to voice him since he's so much younger." my jaw dropped when i heard the voice of the kid version. HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO GET TWO PEOPLE THAT SOUND THAT ANNOYING? i've literally never heard a single voice acting performance even half as annoying as either one, but they managed to find two people that are THAT annoying to voice the same character, as if "fucking unbearable obnoxious voice that makes the audience mute the show" was an integral part of the character. oh also this is by far the most generic thing i've ever seen. that part of the show is also pretty impressive. i'm pretty sure you can skip the entire first episode and lose absolutely no information, because the whole thing is just a bunch of tropes strung together in a really embarrassing way. |

| So many characters shown in OP, also nice song. So Yuno was somehow a weaker one in the past and he adored Asta. Their interactions were the reason that Yuno’s attitude has changed with time, he matured. Asta is still the same annoying brat, but as shown it paid off in some situations. “Marrying the sister” joke was never funny. It was OK, nothing flashy. 3/5 Ore no mahou daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. |

I haven't seen this episode yet but the first episode seemed pretty good. It isn't genre defining but it doesn't seem to be a bad anime inside it's genre. Too early to tell though. My reasons to give this 1/10: 1) Annoying MC. 2) Plot convenience 3) MC with some 'hidden power' 4) We see this one hundred of times. 5) Bad comedy. 6) Yuno and Asta are rivals because reasons. 7) Your typical first villain. 8) I see some chapters of the manga and the last and is still the same. And this in just only episode. And now? 1) 17 minutes of filler flashback and in the bad moment. 2) Asta still wants to marry the nun, stop that! 3) Asta reaches Yuno so fast. 4) How you can put a flashback of 17 minutes in middle of the fight? The series still is 1/10 to me. The main character's VA is even not necessarily the main reason because the series has no decent writing. |

| Interesting, this episode was exactly the same as episode 1, they just did it in flashback mode lol... What we got from a new episode was actually nothing. From another perspective this was a difficult feat to accomplish kudos to whoever was in charge of dragging this, doing it on the second episode must be a new world record. |
| I hope he will become Hokage and marry Sister Hinata. Asta's voice is so annoying and the flashback... Really ? 15 min of FB ? And the bad guy is scared so easily. I suppose he can't use magic because his power is nullified all magic. Don't know If I will drop or not |

| ... Okaaaay, I just started watching episode 2. 3 minutes recaps are unacceptable. Aaaannnnd a 12 minutes flashback which gives us no new information. To the trash it goes ! |

| Flashback was nice to watch, but it was kinda too long. This kinda sucks since we've already know what was their backstory in the previous episode. Asta's VA is improving though. However, there's little progress in the story from what we've seen last week. I really like the ending theme though. 3/5 |

| It seems we already have a filler episode! Yeiii Studio Pierrot doing it again And a really long intro to the episode (just repeating scenes from everything before) - I really think Pierrot will try to stretch this as long as possible - next long running shounen |
