Here's the long story short, i'm 17 and my parents and i have been in conflict about a lot of things so they've decided to put in a sort of "monitoring system" on our wifi called "Circle", and the website i regularly use to watch anime (gogoanime.io) apparently falls under the category of "inappropriate" and it has blocked me from accessing it, the connection to wireless also is on a timer and lasts until like 11pm my time, i need some way of being able to download anime, so does anyone here have an ideas to any sites that i can both visit and download anime from that probably fall under the system's radar?

Use torrent, most likely the filter can't block that

After a quick google search, circle is just something that pairs with your wifi and blocks everything, there's an easy solution then, Unplug the damn thing. Or if you want it less inconspicuous, block circles mac address from your router.

You can also use a spoofer like Netcut or something to just block circle's signal.

Use LAN lmao. Wireless is for plebs anyways. Maybe buy your own mini-router and hide it somewhere.
Be thankful for the wisdom granted to you.

It might target your mac address, so you can just use a mac address changer program thingy, though that would take you completely off of it, so if it logs your activity then your parents would be wondering why it's not there.

If your parents used OpenDNS to block your website, changing your PC's DNS server from automatic to 8.8.8.8 can bypass this. (try this first)

If they're using a built-in CFS (content-filtering service) in your router, it will be harder but doable. Just download ZenMate and register. It's a VPN service and it will somehow encapsulate your webtraffic outside. Your wifi router (if it's a SOHO) won't be able to detect it.

Third would be, use "UltraSurf" plugin from Chrome. This should work. lol

Use proxy server which acts like a 3rd internet location but should just connect to the cable

I wouldnt recommend this method though, her/his parents might get mad.

nah i feel you, i do what they ask, im almost an adult and they're honestly making heading off to college seem like a heavenly oasis where i don't have to put up with their BS, Circle has also blocked at least 90% of the youtubers i used to watch.

Maybe try a VPN? Those work on filtered public/school internet, so it should work for your situation as well

Unless your parents are tech-savvy I doubt they could figure out that they blocked a mac address or that they used a spoofer

Don't know how the thing works. Try setting your DNS(google it) to 8.8.8.8, if "circle" blocks hostnames that should do the trick. If it doesn't work, use the free VPN cyberghost.
A cool solution would be spoofing your MAC with the one of circle, but that's a bit too hard for plebs.

But she/he'd need to analyse with something like wireshark the traffic to identify the MAC of "circle", since I suppose "circle" doesn't filter itself. 99% of people on this earth don't know what a MAC is.

You don't even have to know what a MAC is

Just follow some kind of tutorial online

For example this

If people could follow tuts it'd be a better world. People pay 30$ to get their pc formatted because they don't know they just have to insert a cd

The dude is 17 and his parents are using a web filter designed for kids under 10 years old... He should be the one being mad. Also if you can just find a way to block circle's signal using software like netcut or whatever shellshock was called before the stupid update, his parent's would not be able to find out unless they know how to dig into packets.

Normally, i use VPNs such as Zenmate or Hotspot shield to avoid blocked access, but i don't know whether it's going to work or not in a Wifi filter.

Do they want to make a Jeffrey Dahmer? Because that's how you make a Jeffrey Dahmer. (Also applies to religious extremists.)

Maybe his/her parents are conservative and strict or maybe they have youngster using internet. But yeah, I think using web filter is too much.

Dude they bought a wifi filter for 100 dollars while you can filter out websites manually for free, they definitely aren't tech-savvy

True but he's at that age when he should consider working. Unless his parents are super strict and only want him to study. Probably the case, considering they put a content filter on their network.
