I obviously have a huge list of series I would love to get started on but I'm currently stuck on deciding how many I should be watching at one time, as well as how many episodes of one series during one sitting. How many series do you guys usually have in circulation during a season/in general?

Generally in a day that I know I have time, I can do a 24-26 season, or two different ones with 12-13 episodes.

Do you stay on from season to season if available or just save it for later?

Impressive. I struggles to find the fortitude to binge thru a 24/12 knowing it will be over so quickly.

Most of the time I binge watch, from start to finish in 2-3 days. But sometimes I lose interest in a series and start another one, while the previous one kinda lingers there.
Aside from that, seasonal anime of course.

I get what you mean, but in my case if I start one, I like to finish it that day (especially a great one that really gets my attention with every episode). And yeah knowing it ends quickly kinda sucks, but there are tons out there... got a huge list pending to watch (and keep adding on).

Without counting seasonals (since I watch them weekly), currently I just watch one series at time before starting another one. Back in the past, I remember to start watching 12 finished shows at the same time and I ended putting On-Hold a lot of them since I was unable to finish them due the large number of series I was watching.

Since that moment, I decided that watching just one anime before starting the next one was the best option, and I sticked to that logic since then.

quite a bunch. i try out a lot of shows that get my attention and the ones i enjoy i keep in my watching list even i don't watch on a daily basis. but it really depends. i don't have a specific number. plus i'm on vacation now so i get to finish a lot of shows a lot quicker

I'm watching more than 10 series right now but that doesn't mean that I watch them all every day. Most of the shows on my list are seasonals so I have to wait every week for new episodes.

For the already finished shows, I watch one or two episodes almost everyday.

It depends actually. When during school/work days, i only can invest my time only one to two series with maybe with just a few episodes per day. I personally like to wait for all episodes of the series to air first before watching. During holiday, i can watch a lot more series but i dropped a lot of anime series as well due to my preference.

I watch airing while I am watching something that's already finished. So like, technically everything from 10-15 (ish) series at once.

If you don't count airing, I only watch one series ta one time. I find it stressfull to watch more at once, also I like to complete things. I would probably end up not completing a lot of stuff if I watched many series at once.

Two + however many seasonals I decide to pick up

There was a short while where I'd do more than two non-airing ones at a time and it drove me insane because I'd often find myself stretched too thin and it made it harder for me to zero in on whatever season I was watching at the time. I decided to limit that just for the sake of watching a few series I try to really get into rather than a bunch at once. Seasonals don't contribute to this problem because I watch them weekly, so I just pick up whichever ones I feel like watching.

Seasonals+10 or so series. Limiting yourself to one makes finishing harder when you get bored.

I usually watch up to 20-25 airing, and watch 5-10 already aired anime at the same time. Lately I've been watching less airing anime though, as I have to focus on my thesis and my real life (笑)

I think 3 or 4 is usually my number. One ends up getting finished a lot faster than the others, whichever I like the most, 2 are usually ongoing, one usually ends up getting dropped.

I try to keep it low so I don't get caried away, so usually 2-4, and maybe a side-series that has 2-4 minute episodes, like Gregory Horror Show (my current one), or Luluco. I've been thinking of finding 7 shows I am interested in, and watching an episode or 2 of a specific every night of the week, but knowing me, I'd end up binging the entire series, getting bored, and going over to another before I'm supposed to.

Like you, I have a HUGE list of anime to watch as well. However, 90% of the time, I watch 1 series at a time only. Don't really like thinking about more than 1 series at a time. At MAX, 2 series at a time, but i only started doing that since in class, I NEVER pay attention and instead watch anime all lecture. However, I don't want some people seeing me watch some silly anime, so I choose one that won't make me seem weird watching.
Example: I'm watching Hanayamata at home, but Gakkougurashi in class. Once this semester finishes, it's back to only 1 anime series at time.

Around 15-22 seasonal series plus from 3-8 non airing ones.

Damn, I remember back when I started and I watched 2 series max and usually in binge mode, now I prefer to watch 1-2 episodes max per day of an anime.

I watch weekly seasonal animes since they don't really take up much time to finish everyday.. and I have one series to watch while waiting for their episodes.

Oh my god, how do you even attempt that?? I'm too poor at managing my time for that, good greif.

The key is to have lots of free time, no social life, and having anime as the only hobby.

The most I ever watched at a time was 4, I try to it keep down to at-least 2-3.
Of course if it's ongoing then I tend to not really count those as I only have to watch one episode a week.
