This improved on the first episode. Still managed to give two ages for Chihiro but it's a detail.

I am still chuckling at the names, until I get used to someone actually being called 'Naruhodou' it will probably take some time. It did not bother me in the movie, though, but that might be the Miike effect.

Chihiro and her big rack is kill :'(
Spirit medium, I'm sure that's coming into play soon, "just ask chihiro who killed he" lmao XD

Some scheming behind the scenes is at play.

I felt more sad about Chihiro's death in the game than here.

Already showing the rain scene from the OP.

Dat age mistake on the tv.

The fated meeting: Naruhodo vs Mitsurugi.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

This show's OP is hilariously abrupt.

Man it really isnt worth watching when you know the games.

idk, I disagree. If someone didn't play the games and went into this blind, I feel they would think the pacing's a little all over the place with too much going on at once. This show is more to please the existing fans than to introduce new fans into AA. I've only played through the first game and saw some other post on here saying that they already made a reference to the second game and it bugs me that I missed it.

Pretty solid development, it does seem they're skipping some cases and focus pretty much on the main storyline of Phoenix Wright! Which isn't bad but just a shame that those other cases like the Steel Samurai one isn't shown. Or perhaps we'll see them later in a flashback kind of episode?

Either way some nice pacing I must say! Let's see what's next.

Ah, why can't the games be more like this? Slow, but not dragging, descriptive, but not shoving things down your throat, and just overall heart moving. I adore this series.

Dropped. I am personally not a fan of courtroom drama or episodic shows.

Then what were you expecting when you decided to check out on this show? It's courtroom drama obviously, from the synopsis and the cover art, but calling it episodic isn't right, as you won't be getting 24 cases in the span of 24 episodes, you will only get a couple of cases instead.

Well obviously I knew it had courtroom drama but I just didn't expect it to be a constant thing for every case which I personally found quite tedious to watch. I would've ignored that too if the characters were a little more interesting. But that's how I feel.

It was alright, but the way they adapted it wasn't really good. And why does Edgeworth have his award in his office before he even won it yet?! I get they wanted to show off scenery from the game and that if you ain't familiar with the games this will fly over your head, but it doesn't change the fact that it makes no sense so early in the series.

Maya has a cute voice tho. And I like the few things they adjusted to fit into the anime better.

Seeing how all the scenes are swapped around are interesting. I guess they gotta increase the pacing instead of exploring every possible avenue of evidence.

I honestly have no idea which episode is more of anything, this one or the first one.
at least there's the part about Mia and Maya which is a little interesting, I liked how Miles Edgeworth was introduced, he conveyed the character's imposing air and how he will be a difficult opponent for Phoenix, but otherwise that's all well whatever, the dry cuts that irritate me continue which is a shame
final score: 5/10, I hope the next episode makes up for the lack of quality in this one
