Hi! I'm new to anime, I would love to see if anyone has any suggestions of anime which involves a male and female with super powers which fall in love (after a long time). These two characters go on adventure to new places far away.

Is there a similar anime?
I have found similar suggestions (but not the same)

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (I really love the look of julis-alexia)
Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
Hundred

I suggest Magi. It has 2 seasons, a spin off based on another character, and the mangas. It's one of my favs.

Well if you're new to anime then you might enjoy Sword Art Online, if you haven't seen this yet.

Zero no Tsukaima has 4 seasons and a good ending (in my opinion) but the main girl is a tsundere so that might not appeal to everyone

Grimgar is good, but slow, just so you know.

Hundred is crap.

Rakudai Kishi is a better version of Asterisk.

Haven't seen those, but 2 of those are apparently harem series. If you want a good harem series, you should try The World God Only Knows. It has a pretty good story. There won't be a 4th season, but you can continue onto the manga when you're done. The manga's among my favorites too.

Legend of the Condor, by far the best I've seen for that genre combo. I'd say Record of the Lodoss War too but the rom was very subtle. Forgot about Katanagatari. That's a must see. Berserk and Blue Gender integrated rom pretty well too.

Meh, I don't see why not - it's not like I'm recommending Angel's Egg or Lain lol. It's basic Wuxia and millions of plebes have seen the countless live action adaptions. Fits his requirements perfectly imo. It's taken 16 years to finish subbing though so if he has delusions of dubbed...lol

But yeah I'd agree Inuyasha is better for the less initiated.

eureka 7. Imagine Neon genesis evangelion mixed with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood with added romance in. Sounds like what youre looking for slightly.

It's been quite a while so I can't remember where I was watching it, but the subs stopped at around 58. Work then continued and my LotCH source tells me the rest should be on YT (recent completion). Makes me want to rewatch :)

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk

Please forget Asterisk and go watch Rakudai instead
They seem to be extremely similar yet are so different
I really love Rakudai and I think you will like it too, it has actual romance, a decent amount of fights and involves super powers

You might enjoy DanMachi as well. It's not exactly focused on romance but it's a nice and enjoyable adventure show.

I found Hitsugi no Chaika pretty enjoyable as well, you can find both romance and adventures there, the main characters travel a lot and super powers are involved too

Another adventure show I liked is Magi, but the show's quality is very uneven, and I don't remember much of romance being there but I can still recommend it

I really loved Pandora Hearts, it's not fully adapted though and the anime ends somewhere in the middle of the story with a filler :(

Also, you should watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!! It's a really really good adventure anime, there's a bit of romance as well. One of my favorite shows, you should definitely give it a try

Not sure you like it, since it has quite peculiar artstyle.
But it's a very nice show with lots of touching moments.

If you are looking for a longer show with a really good and deep romance that ends well you should try Inuyasha. It is a little older but it has nice development, humor, plenty of adventure, and romance for pretty much the entire main cast.

There is also Kyoukai no Kanata. It is filled with action and romance. If you do watch it be sure to watch the movie as well :)

The seven deadly sins and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood are also a couple of other great anime involving romance and adventure

I hope this helps, and good luck finding a show that interests you.

This is a quite popular formula. Back when I just started watching anime, Tsukihime was already doing it.
Back when I was born, Superdimensional Fortress Macross already used similar formula, except it was mecha sci-fi instead of fantasy.

Of the new anime, you might like Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance and Dog Days.

I am only 10 episodes in myself (of 26), but The Vision of Escaflowne seems to pretty much fit the request ?

Girl gets drawn into a mystery world (fantasy - dragons, mecha, princes, wolve men, cat women, ... etc.) and meets at least 2 nice guys - gorgeous art, solid music, good action so far, everything yay!
