Now if you do manage to click on a million or so profiles and carefully write down all the titles and start counting the ones that come up the most you'd get MAL's top anime lists...

guess i should have thought about that. don't know why you would get so sarcastic though. the good thing about a thread like this is that it goes over the limit of top 10, and you add more variety than the anime everyone have on their lists (death note, clannad, sword art, ngnl you name it)

Here are my top 10 personal faves...
1. My Hero Academia - A shonen series that I actually enjoyed.
2. Fullmetal Alchemist (both series) - No explaining. It's just too good.
3. Princess Tutu - A rare gem that should be worth watching despite its girly name.
4. The World God Only Knows - The best harem ever. Also it's my favorite manga and it has my favorite main character.
5. Konosuba - A great comedy which is one of the subbed anime series I only watched and liked.
6. Soul Eater - Fun characters and fun art style. Also... SYMMETRY IS AWESOME!
7. Assassination Classroom - The first anime that I felt was complete.
8. Haruhi Suzumiya - The first anime where I was really hooked into.
9. Your Lie In April - The best drama I've ever watched.
10. Noragami - First anime where I got interested reading the manga version.

And here are my blind favorites:
+ Baccano - I'm a sucker for historical anime. It looks very good and the only thing I have to do is to fully watch it.
+ Blood Blockade Battlefront - Much like the one above but modern.
+ Code Geass - That one mecha anime I might actually like.
+ Gosick - by the time I'm typing this I am still halfway through the show, but so far it's been great and again, I'm a sucker for historical anime.
+ Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Another magical girl I'm rooting to watch.
I haven't fully seen these shows but would love to put in my favorites. If I have seen all (or most) of these, then I will make an updated version of the list.
