| Can anyone recommend me bit of fem romance thats not just teasing fan service but does actually have romance in it. If it even exists. Preferable two totally different characters with what should be clashing styles like a tomboy not point having it be two girly girl types. If not its cool. |

| More... Simoun Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne -- Gory. El Cazador de la Bruja -- Yuri subtext. Yuri Kuma Arashi -- Heavy use of metaphor typical of Ikuhara's works. Hidan no Aria AA -- A spin-off of a non-yuri show. Not absolutely necessary to watch the base series but if you do it helps give context to some of the characters. Kanamemo Kanamewo -- A touching short only 5 mins long. Mai-HiME IMO the best ones are some of the ones already mentioned: Strawberry Panic, Maria-sama ga Miteru (mostly platonic), Oniisama e (heavy drama), Aoi Hana, Utena (protective), Sasameki Koto (unrequited) and Simoun.
