| It is wrong to download anime from sites like Kissanime, but I don't think anything can happen to you... I think. Isn't downloading anime the same thing as downloading music and movies illegally? Sure it's wrong, but no one will do a thing about it. I don't live in the UK, but never had any problem illegally downloading anything ever before |

| The only anime I've ever heard of people even getting those angry copyright letters for downloading are Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Gintama. Most shows won't get you in any trouble though, especially older stuff or anything on BakaBT. |

| No problem buddy wasn't criticizing you because I do the same. I used to own a Crunchyroll subscription, but right now I'm saving money. And normally I watch a lot of anime on my phone while on the bus. I have no internet connection there, so I download anime. I know it's wrong but I have no other option :/ If you really can't afford to pay for anime, just download it then, nothing will happen to you I'm sure. Money shouldn't stop from enjoying anime |

| I used to own a Crunchyroll subscription. It's now very good here in EU because of the region restirictions, they you need a VPN and 90% of the free ones offer you only 500mb free monthly, wich is like 4-5 episodes watched on 720p quality. You would need to pay Crunchyroll 7€ and a nice premium unlimited VPN wich would cost about 5€. That's 12€ per month and that's expensive for a college student like me. And for a lot of other people as well, that's the price of a subscription to a TV provider. Once when Crunchyroll puts out enough anime for all the regions so you wont use a VPN then 7€ would be acceptable. For now I use Kissanime to stream and torrent stuff I wanna watch offline. I don't think torrent will get you in trouble. |

| I don't think anything would happen. I prefer to torrent though, if I want anime on my computer. Crunchyroll is not that expensive, but not everything is available in the EU unless you set up a VPN. Either way, the most that can happen legally is that they charge you the price of the bought product, because they "assume that you didn't know it was illegal". That's how it works in Belgium at least, but I don't think that intellectual property law works differently in the UK. The fine for torrenting would be higher though, since you do redistribute. If the anime doesn't have a legal localisation, I don't think they can do anything to you. |

| no one is going to care in europe if you download anime. Maybey in USA if even there. In europe it´s only hollywood and other movies from USA that going to try bust your ass so hard they can. No one care about anime here, we are dorks and nerds that watch cartoon lolis. So no one will care. if you count out all the moral in this :P |

Well, you are doing something that violates copyright laws pretty much everywhere, so if you are caught there is always a chance you can be arrested, jailed and/or fined large amounts of money, no matter how small that chance may be. |

| I have never ever heard or read about someone in europe that has goten a fine of huge money or jail for torrent anime. American movies are quite common. More money in those company to hunt you down. |
