| Implement a system that allows you to find MAL users with the same interests as you. Or who have similar tastes in anime/manga. I believe this will make MAL a better and more friendlier community. Because of this many people will make more friends, find people with the same interests as them, etc. There should also be a system to search certain specifics but also with the option of any. | There used to be a system where you could search for people with high compatibility, but at some point it became too much for the server to handle so it had to be removed. Perhaps one day it will come back in some form. |

| That's not going to be easy for the server to maintain if it was going to return back to its natural form. Though, I do support this idea and I seem to support a low amount. Adding features that connect people with similiar tastes can only better the community and that's what everybody should be aiming for. Another way this could be added is: - MAL makes it so people who have an anime favorited that you do are shown somewhere on the front page of that anime. It can show their avatars in a similiar way the forum moderators get shown and will show like five people who have it on their favorites and everytime you refresh it shows a different five that have it added to their favorites? Not sure if that could work though. |
