I'm using 6.5 as the average score, rounded down or up to whichever whole number it's leaning towards. For most the anime I've seen, you can find a short explanation of my thoughts on the series. Action anime use a different scaling. For manga, I do not use scores, and just write "recommended" or "It sucks" for some of them, and give a few reasons why.

Don't you know what MANBEN is? It's Urasawa interviewing other mangaka and their way of producing manga pages. He had an episode with Ikegami who was drawing that same image.
