| Depends on what you mean by sad. If it's only a matter of tears then Hotaru no mori e or clannad. But if we are talking about shows that are sad because of their themes and messages ( which is, in my opinion far more interesting) than Terra E..., Kenshi (OVA) and maybe Ginga Eiyuu Densentsu are some pretty sad shows. |

| Probably the only one that made me cry and everytime i listen (which i don't intentionally) to the OP/ED/Ending song and makes me want to cry would be Angel Beats!. There have been others that had me drop a tear or two like Chrno Crusade but the majority that makes me tear have been tears of happiness. Also somehow i didn't felt depressed/suicidal with Texhnolyze ending, probably because i expected that to happen but i get why people say that is a depressing anime. |
