How do you prefer your meat cooked?

Been seeing a lot of pro-vegan/vegetarian stuff floating around the internet lately, so I decided to give the meat eaters a little love here.
Myself, I prefer most of my meat well done since the idea of eating raw or overly tender meat just turns me off a bit. Also, I'm Hispanic so most of the meat we eat is well done anyway. Carne asada ftw <3

Discuss and stuff.

Rare or Blue. There is nothing better than a really rare cheeseburger, the meat and cheese just melt after every bite.

I don't really check the type of meat I eat as long as it is hot.

I don't know the exact term but I like it to be stiff and non-chewy, and then not look like it's bleeding a storm. Is it even blood or sauce?

Rare looks like it's ready to squirt blood out when I bite into it, but that's just me.

I don't like seeing red in my meat unless it is a seasoning or sauce

Medium rare for beef and game (except boar and fowl), well done for chicken, pork, wild fowl, and boars.

Medium well to well done. I mostly eat well done, but sometimes it gets too dry and slow to eat, which isn't that great.

Never fully looked into this but i guess you could say well done? i was raised that way i guess and when ever meat would be made they would always say no blood and no red blah blah blah, eating raw meat and bloody meat also turns me off so i won't bother lol.

I like my meat cooked like they do it on youtube
with assorted stupid hot shit
Examples would be Lava, Molten Aluminium, Molten Copper, a Red Hot Nickel Ball or just Gordon Ramsey

But if it cannot be like that, Medium Rare to Rare

Cooked for no more than 30 seconds to have a thin, seared crust.

I don't eat beef, though.

Medium/Medium Rare. Too much flavor is lost when it's cooked well done.

Medium rare, the juiciness of the steak is where is at, plus it's the inside of the steak that is soft not the whole thing. That outside is always well cooked. Something about a crisp outside with a juicy inside just spells esctacy in your mouth.

Medium to medium well. Don't mind miniscule traces of pink or a little pink, but if it's gushing red I find myself pretty repulsed and probably won't eat it.

Well done, I want anything I eat to be fully cooked. Kill those germs or I won't eat it. Plus, less grease the better I suppose.. and less red meat content? Not really a cook, so I don't know if there's any difference there. (Grease/Content)

Clearly this depends on the meat, the cut, and the accompanying items on the table.

I would never eat a fillet mignon anything beyond medium rare, but I loathe rare lamb; at the same time, it is nonsensical to serve well-done lamb with a tannic Rhone like Cote Rotie but perfectly ok with an aged Merlot. Rare goat can be fine with the right company, but serve your rare goat with greek style accompaniments and watch your guests run for the toilet. Slow braise rabbit in vinegar and shallots and just forget it, but if you forget unadorned rabbit in the oven you might just as well forget dinner.

When I was younger I would always prefer well done, but my tastes have migrated rawer and rawer to medium rare. Note that this is only for steaks though. Any other meat not cooked all the way is disgusting.

Obviously 'well done' steak is complete trash, as by that point you've reduced the thing to rubber.

Medium rare is my favourite. I can't really enjoy rare, but that's just my own personal taste. Besides, I love it when a steak has had time to properly sear on the outside and all of the fat has been properly rendered! Sometimes you don't get that when people cook it rare.
Now you're wondering if there's white text in any of my other posts.

Over there, I'm everywhere. I know that.

This is the most badass meat eating thread ever. A bunch of meat eaters put off by blood and chewy meat, I can hear the carnivores laughing.

Anyway triggered sarcasm aside I'd either have rare or medium rare steak. I usually like it medium rare since it has a tad more flavour on the outside.

I've met people who like it well done and burnt, but steak is the only meat that isn't nice like that. Burn any other meat on a barbeque though and it works great.

I might be wrong about this, but the red juice in steak is haemoglobin (or maybe myoglobin), which is part of red blood cells...so yeah it kinda is blood.
