It might get a bit comical when we see all these cute, fluffy girls getting caught up in the apocalypse and seeing people getting killed and torn apart and shit. Just seems like it might get a bit jarring.
I noticed that they do use different shading in different scenes of the PV.
That will actually do the job.

Conclusion of the interviews:
1. All original content was by Tanaka. He said this kind of alteration is kinda novel to Gal-VN adaptations.
2. Romeo: Paying more attention to Kotori, and also to the strength of Chihaya, no change to Akane, Shizuru will be more mature and reliable, Lucia will have much more screen time.
3. Kagari will have much much more attention, and the HF personality will be used. The reason why Kagari was not focused on in the VN is because he didn't write her as a main heroine.
Wondering if they still going to do the "omnibus" format, thus they can do the romantic parts in all the routes! in b4 BEST LUCIA ROMANTIC ROUTE! I can't imagine her route without the romance, it would fail miserably.
So, typically PVs show pieces of the 1st episode of the anime. Assuming this true, it looked like it covered all the way up to meeting Akane for the first time.

Kinda weird to have a game with not only one but two true routes where Kagari is the main heroine, yet the writer didn't intend her to be one? Well whatever :s

Nah, they showed the scene where Kotarou meets Kagari in the forest on september 13th.

The director of this anime, Motoki Tanaka has tweeted that this adaptation will feature an 'original development' not present in the original visual novel, and so Kai and Romeo Tanaka have been regularly attending script planning meetings to supervise its development. This is surprising news! We are very curious to see just how much they intend deviate from the original story with this adaptation.
Original Development? Oh no, hopefully it does not deviate away from the actually story.

November 13th? I need to watch this PV 100000000 more times. Haha.
Animation looks decent, a bit cheap, but better than I expected. The PV made me even more excited for it though. I wish they released the episode count, but I guess the PV is already quite good.
Im hoping that the so called "Original Development" does not change the ending in anyway, quite scared when a LN/Manga/VN Anime adaptation gets something "original" put into it, just look at Akame ga Kill!
24 episodes + 12 Episodes + Movie/OVA (for Moon) should be sufficient.
eslej said: Well, by the interview I can't see why we won't get *at least* 24 eps. With 12 eps they couldn't promise giving more attention to Kagari and Lucia.

Is this referring to Romeo Tanaka? Or Motoki Tanaka (Tenshou; the director)?

Romeo Tanaka :D I'd prefer to refer Motoki as Tensho for now to avoid confusion xD

Not bad. I'm okay with the animation and art style, as long as the toning gets adjusted later on. I think what hyped me the most was hearing Morita narrate, he's going to knock the fully voiced Kotarou out of the park.
I think the Akane and Kagari scenes are already a bit dark. It set the mood just right. I'm not too concerned that they can't pull the serious parts correctly.
** In the TV anime, there is some original development you thought up of Tanaka, in what way are you going about it?
Tanaka
The director Tenshou, the producer Toba of Aniplex, the scenario writers and television people, 7 to 8 people, or sometimes around 10 people have a discussion many times over, and work out the contents while we sometimes changed things over and over again.
For the game production, we had the president (of Key) there, the director and me...... So at best there was a discussion between three people, so it was quite tough.
We're making arrangements so each heroine gets her own time to shine properly.
The TV anime has many more people involved than than game did, so the arrangements are very systematic.
The PC game environment is relatively straightforward, and depending on the maker, the methods can be very different.
** It was said in the 'Rewrite Perfect Visual Book' by Key before that Terra and Moon isn't a story to make Kagari a heroine...... But in the fandisk "Rewrite Harvest festa!" her character was well-displayed.
Tanaka
『Harvest festa!』
That's right. Her very own character was well-displayed in "Harvest festa!".
By the way, Kagari in the anime is similar to how she was in there, so those who have only played the original game may get a little bit of a different impression from her.
** So not just "Rewrite", if you enjoyed "Harvest festa!" too, you'll really enjoy the anime more.
The director Tenshou who helped with the animation work in the original game (he was credited as Tanaka Motoki in the original game) put a comment in the 'Pefect Visual Book' that he was fan of Key from "Kanon", but what do you think of the director personally, Tanaka?
Tanaka
The director Tenshou has a very wide understanding of the original game, and has no difficulty at all with that side of things.
Also, in regards to the anime, he has a fine 'visual image' that I don't have, and is a person that sees something like "Here we need to make this kind of picture" and is very reliable.
When I'm writing a script, I can't imagine visual images at all.
** Upon the animated version, is there scenes and portrayals that you look forward to?
Tanaka
It's exciting to see how 'that part' and 'those parts' that were abstractly drawn in the game will come to life. I'll give one example -- in the original game, there was no official setting of what size Gil and Pani exactly were (*laughs*).
Also, it's exciting to see how the "Chibimosu" that Kotori carries around will move.
According to the director Tenshou, he leaps and jumps, and moves around quite a bit.
-- The size of Gil and Pani wasn't decided...... (*laughs*).
Now finally, please give one last message.
I think the anime adaptation of a bishoujo game involves challenging quite some unexpected methods in order to adapt it.
While you wait, please replay the original game and "Harvest Festa!".
Please look forward to the anime.
Should I do the other one (after I sleep a bit; my English is becoming shit...)

Yeah, that scene with Kagari looked pretty intense.
