| I don't really see it as Chinese unless it was produced and animated in China (e.g. http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=10259) So I would probably watch Reikenzan in Japanese but if it was something like Da Hai I would watch it in Chinese |

In answer to the question, yes I would. If it interested me and the subs were good enough I wouldn't care whether it was in Japan or not. I'm currently watching Ashen Qiaokeli-ing... which is in Chinese, I believe. Took a little getting used to their language rather than the familiar Japanese, but it's quick enough to get over that. |

But don't bring Manhua into this, some of those are pretty good. I'm talking animation only. HISTORY TIME: The reason Chinese animation is so bad is because some time ago (50-60 years), most people who worked in arts, like animation, painting, etc, were forced to become farmers. Thus China lost a lot of animators who not only stopped animating, but also never passed the art along to apprentices. Thus, when China started wanting to make its own animations, the industry had to kind of start over. |
