Glad to see Yuya and Sora on better terms now.

Not much dueling this episode so it's a lot more story focused. Too bad about Yuya getting captured but at least Sora can go help Yuzu. I liked the buildup for this episode but the amount of info analysis was a bit much. Oh well, can't be helped. Looking forward to next episode especially with Kurosaki's duel against Crow.

So Sora genuinely cares about Yuya and Yuzu, I guess he's not a total dick after all. It's a shame that after this episode his death flags have risen tremendously and probably gets carded by Yuri at some point.

Additional comment:
lol at all those commons booing at Yuya. What happened with "losers are abandoned"? Seems the entire world is against him no matter what.

Glad to see that Sora is back to being a protagonist (sort of). As expected, this episode was more plot-based. We see that Sora came to protect Yuzu and Yuya and that he's starting to go against Academia.

Seems that the children found Yuzu walking around. Was surprised that they weren't calling her Serena on accident. Also chuckled a bit when they forgot about Shingo.

Sad to see that Yuya, once again, becomes the center of hate. Poor guy just can't win no matter what happens.

Next episode will be hype. Crow and Kurosaki always provide great duels, after all.

I really didn't think Sora does care about Yuya and Yuzu. But he said 'hajimete tomodachi' with a sincere face.
Next week will be intense which I would like to see more than other duels. Hopefully, Kurosaki wins.

No...! My nightmare has came true...! If it's not for Yuya becoming the center of hate because of that stupid Roger's scheme, I would've love this episode! Now Shinji and Crow doesn't believe in Yuya anymore! I wonder how about the other Lancers thinks about Yuya... How are Yuya going to fix this?! There's no point for Yuya to win if he is hated so much like this...(TT_TT)

Aside from that, it's nice to watch Yuya and Sora together again. And knowing Sora's point of view is what made me enjoying this episode a little bit. Sora is in a difficult position. He is loyal to Academia, but at the same time he truly cares for both Yuya and Yuzu. If someone from Academia knows about Sora's action, he will be deemed as traitor and...you know what.

I think I'm not going to watch this series for a while until I get a good news like Yuya's name is cleared or anything good happen to him. Seeing him being hated for something he never done opens an old wound in me... It's too much for me to watch or even hear about it...(TT_TT)

A decent plot episode. Glad to know Sora is really teared up between his loyalty and first, genuine friends. Not to mention like Serena, he's always been in Academia. Though this episode also raised some questions for me (or I've been thinking these before, but I was reminded of 'em): is Sora an orphan (possibly, since he's always just... been there)? And might Fusion Dimension possibly be pretty fucked up outside Academia, considering we've only been shown the Academia part of Fusion Dimension?
And hue, it seems like Jean is completely scared of Yuri like he's the demon or something. I hope he comes back soon and Roger dies out of the fear or something :p Also good to know that Yuzu doesn't have amnesia, she just lost her memory of the crash!

Next episode is HYPE, badass battle not to mention we get possibly get to know whether Yuya is a fool and allies with Jean or denies his proposal. Reiji is definitely placing his trust bucks on Yuya.

Not a bad episode, there was some more Sora XD, but I can't help but feel like the past two episodes where just:
Sora: YYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAA
Yuya: SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sora: Shut up Yuya you're being too loud!

Jaden/Judai they're interchangeable depending on what you grew up watching and neither is deemed correct over the other.

Sure one might have come before, but then again you don't go correcting every American saying 'crumpets' not cookies. Or 'chips' not fries. I never knew a Judai until years later that I knew Jaden.....honestly if I net Judai first I wouldn't have stuck with Yu-Gi-Oh....

Man that was one heck of an episode! I didn't like how the crowd treated Yuya. I especially can't stand how everyone thinks that Yuya is siding with the Commons. Darn Shinji for being a sore loser; he had to mess up Yuya's reputation. Now everyone is buying it, even the little helper boy. If his emotions can be swayed easily by shallow words as opposed to Yuya's deep concern to change everything, then I don't know what Yuya can do to change his mind. Anyway, I can't wait for the next (couple?) episode(s)! The duel will definitely be epic!

Great episode, like I said in the last episode, Shinji made Yuya the face of the Tops and enemy of the Commons, and Roger really made it worse. Perhaps this is how Jack became the way he is, with Jean manipulation, and ironically the conclusion Shinji jumps to is not far off, he is sort of right, there probably was a under the table deal on Yuya's behalf but it didn't involve Jean, it was between Reiji and the council, and Yuya is not aware of it and probably wouldn't approve it, he wouldn't accept an invitation to the Junior Cup when it was handed to him, that is the kind of guy he is. Maybe I am naive I believe Mellisa she sincerely wants unity, she might be the only one that feels that way, I hope she gets to play more of a role and becomes Yuya allies, he needs some since almost in this dimension is against him. Thanks a lot Shinji and especially Jean.

Speaking of naive and believe in someone, I don't trust Sora long term, but I do believe he is sincere in caring about Yuya and Yuzu, and maybe everyone at YouShow. In the short term, I think we can trust, Jean is the common enemy, he is the immediate threat, for now I trust Sora has the same interests as the good guys.

Next episode, Crow you idiot, I expect this from a hot head and thus easily manipulated Shinji to fall for Jean's crap, but I least think things throw, after all the stuff you have through with Yuya. And Shun is right, Sora is here and Yuri is on the way. I don't know who will win, they both have reason why there story should continue, and I think just based on strength Shun should beat him, but I think Yuya and Crow need to duel, so I think Crow will find a way to advance.

Roger was just awesome in this episode. Not only did he put Shinji in his place by calling him out on his "It was fixed" whining (about time someone put him in his place, he's so infuriating), but he managed to implant doubts in others. I would normally complain about everyone easily buying Yuya falling for that lie an idiot, but I think the show has made it obvious enough that most of the Commons are idiots already.

As we learbed in the recap episode Jean wanted to know how Yuya's Pendulum wouls fare against Jack. He needed to find out more of the summmoning as the Lancers seemed to specialize in it.

Dunno how to feel about Sora, one time he is a psychopath hunting people out of fun and another he is just a lonely kid who just wants friends.
Shinji really was annoying this episode I was constantly yelling "quit your yapping just accept your loss damnit".
Roger is really a smart character by appearing to be nice to Yuuya he just ripped the gap between the commons and tops more open and also might be able to use Yuuyas stupidity ehhh naivite.
The quality of this episode was really low are they already tied on budget ?
Hope it gets better next episode with Crow vs Kurosaki which reminds me of HAIKYUU.

That's some logic the Commons have. Yuuya wins, so he must be an enemy of the Commons. It's not like losing carries the penalty of being tossed underground to do slave labor. Or that this is a tournament where winning brings fame and fortune. No, Yuuya chose to win just to put down the Commons. Then you have Shingi claiming the match was rigged. I'm glad Rogers called him out that a rigged match would been Shingi lost on purpose.

Also i wanted to see shinji vs kurosaki just to see who is more angry but that will never happen.

The elder chairman just seems so passive. I don't see how he got voted in on the council in the first place. It'll be interesting to see what Sora's allegiance is moving forward. Also Blackwings vs Raidraptors hype. My prediction is that Crow wins so they have another Commons's duelist fighting and Crow could potentially rally a crowd against Yuya, if it comes to that.

Seriously though, anyone actually starting to get worried about Yuya's emotional and mental condition? I'm seriously feeling like all this pressure on him starting to overwhelm him and probably make him go berserk again if the opening was any indication. I'm having doubts that he'll return home the same person he was when he left.

Also the Sora thing was OK I guess, and he really does care about his friends. Although, if they wanna fix him in my eyes, they should address his...attitude during his 1st duel with Shun first.

I am worried about Yuya's emotional and mental state. I know they want to develop Yuya's growth, but even so, this is too much for me to watch. I won't be surprised if Yuya changed into another Supreme King like Judai.

After reading Arc V manga chapter 3, I've been thinking, can't Yuto do something for Yuya other than possessing him when he is in pinch? Even giving him a little bit encouragement or advice would do. Since he is residing in his body, he understands too well what kind of position Yuya is in right now. I wonder how come Yuya and Yuto rarely interact with each other telepathically even though they are sharing one body...

It's good to have Sora's story. As long as he doesn't turn into a brat again, like after he lost to Shun (which was probably a disgrace in his mind but still), then I don't mind him anyway. It'll be interesting to see what he does.

Sorry for the *insert number* months later reply, but no, they are not interchangeable. The name Jaden does not exist and is incorrect in the true canon of Yugioh. You must think edited names(lies in a nutshell) can actually hold an argument over actual fact, which is Judai. It can't. Judai will always be correct over Jaden. Jaden will never be equal to Judai and will never win an argument over Judai. If we ask Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of Yugioh, to say Judai or Jaden, which one do you think he's going to say? Takahashi's words are law.

Last time someone lied to my face was when Ray from Zexal pretended to be Yuma's friend. Ehh i don't really believe sora. He could be lying and saying all that just to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Commons hate Yuya, learn this one simple trick!

Now Shinji hates Yuya will all his guts, probably because losing blinded him with hate. If he calmed down and talked about it yuya , thinks coulda went differently.
The Security Sector boss made it worse by showing up and promoting yuya (idk that guys name)

@blackhole23 yeah, his official Japanese name is Judai; Official name in English is Jaden.
Even duel links named him Jaden not Judai so you can't say it's wrong .
