DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Eh so we get the warrior classes with the guards, knights, etc explained more in this volume already. Then, there's ""The Immovable" Nazami Enec" which I think is dubbed the strongest knight of the empire? Hmm... I'm not sure how much Aura can be trustworthy. It's hard to read her intentions... Looking forward to how her relationship with Ainz and others will unravel more in this volume! |

| He may be sharp by human standards but boy of boy is he screwed against Ainz. Even further if Ainz capitalizes on all the industrialization knowledge he has the civilian population will gladly submit to him. Something tells me Ainz will rekt the Emperor on all levels hehe |

| Renner is demuirge's trump card? XD lol and she's pretty much shaped the empire from her room XD lol a 6th tier magic user can solo the entire empire. The death knight is comparable? it's only level 35 :( The emperor's lack of knowledge in powerlevels really did him in. Hope Renner has a good grasp on that. The alliance between races sounds good thou. It won't generate any serious threat (except if the dragons join), but maybe it will get some other groups/people moving. Like powerful monsters with special talents, or wci holders. It might come back to bite Ainz if it rouses several beings near the level of PDL and his items. |

| Hahaha, I love that Jircniv thinks forming an alliance of all the neighboring kingdoms would help them at all with fighting against Ainz or that Ainz acts like a tyrant and ANY of the residents of the Tomb of Nazarick would betray him. Hell, the only one I could think of that may would probably be Eclair or whatever his name was. ^^ (And isn't he only level 1...so big whoop in terms of power, plus, he seems kinda stupid, so I don't even think he'd add much in the information department either. ^^) |

Except Rubedo does not have a will of its own as far as we know True, I think she was just a golem, so I guess there is something a person needs to have to be able to command her, with that "key" being currently in Albedo's hands since she asked to have Rubedo for her "team". The threat of World Class Items is still there, but if they want to take control of her, they'd probably have to take whatever is needed to control her from Albedo...and I don't think that's going to be easy since not only is she a level 100 NPC, she also has 2 World Class Items, which I wouldn't be surprised is she let Pandora's Actor borrow one of them, so he'd get that debuff/status effect protection from other World Class Items. Out of the known World Class Items, I think World Savior is probably the biggest threat, since just possessing a World Class Item seems to be enough to become immune to debuffs/status effects from others, but World Savior is a weapon that deals just pure damage. Though, I think the world they're in doesn't have THAT many of them in it just yet. Just my theory, but maybe the guilds/players that get moved into that world are the ones in possession of the World Class Items, for whatever reason. Like maybe one of the earliest players to get migrated over had Five Elemental (whatever the last word is) and used it to allow people in that world to use magic, or maybe a person that had Uroboros used it to create the Martial Arts for humans to use to help them survive. Just a random thought. ^^ |
| Platinum Dragon Lord can definitely handle more than half of albedo's team by himself. But rubedo being controlled does make it being stolen fairly high especially since they're bringing it out in the open :O All the little things that are being hinted at and ainz's small mistakes/carelessness will probably pile up and ainz will have one hell of a problem. |

| It seems the people who cant read Japanese will have to wait a veeryyyyyy long time untill we can get our hands on volume 10. The fan translations will stop because Overlord has been licensed and knowing how long it will take for the official translations to get up to date with the japanese releases it's going to take years :( oh well i'll still buy the offcial version even though i've read them already |

Even if it will be harder to track down. I'd rather buy the japanese originals than give Yen Press any money |
| A death knight isn't even strong (level 35) aside from it's special skills. | And so the full volume 9 has been translated. And by god the last chapters were beyond EPIC Enri's epic army. Ainz's EPIC STOMPING Epic is not even good enough of a word to describe this. |

Plus if Demiurge finds out this sword exists you can be SURE he will steal it even without telling Ainz |

(extracted from the LN translation) And all that stuff at the end where they discuss Stronoff trying to show em some weakness. Although, he didn’t think that the Sorcerer King, as a magic caster, would willingly enter melee combat again without bodyguards by his side. Even so, he still staked his life on the miraculous, hope-against-hope possibility that it might happen again. Then, who would he entrust that opportunity to?" Just Throw some cliché stuff of a miracle against all odds as in others anime/LN did. See why I fear some BS stuff happening? |

The dwarves definitely have way betterr stuff. |

| Holy shit Overlord took it up to a whole new level O_O Who is going to pick up volume 10 translations now that Sky has dropped it? I wonder if Ainz will make his way towards the Beastmen village to crate more powerful undead to add to his ranks. Tsar is also interesting in this development. |

| -Ayyy this is the type of shit I wanted to see when I heard the title [Overlord] and began to read it. -Too bad, Gazef died he's one of the human characters I grown to like. His actions is that of a fool though even with all that Loyalty reasoning...eh I still call him a fool. -Dat Ainz and Momon Farce. Everyone will shit bricks once they realize their Source of hope, Momon is none other than Ainz lol. Can't wait. Ah well, Guess this is the last volume for Skythewood translations. Just when things are getting hype ;c. Who knows when the Licensed LN will reach Volume 10 till I can scrape up the money to buy one. Three years? Four? Or if someone would pick this up and translate it. Oh well just lost something to read every month. Not that I'm complaining good news for the author nonetheless, His work is getting popular. |

| I believe it was mentioned in volume 9 that dragon princess is only taking on the form of a loli, that her real form is that of an grown up woman. Think back to Dance in the Vampire Bund. Ainz have made several blunders, especially in volume 5. I think orchestrating the whole demonic invasion was a big mistake. Letting people see the battle maids was the second mistake. All of this will come to bite him in the ass at a later point, but not as much as that one dragon who was mentioned in previous volumes. I believe it was mentioned that this dragon can manipulate a set of armor without leaving his cave and that he, at one point in time, was part of the 13 heroes that defeated the demon kings. He was also in possession of a sword, most likely a guild weapon and asked one of his old comrades from 13 heroes to fetch him a sturdy set of armor. Overall the 9th volume was pretty brutal, I understand the need to show absolute force in order to quelch any desire for rebellion. The Kingdom have only themselves to blame, they never thought of approaching Ainz or negotiating, despite warnings from Warrior Captain. RIP Warrior Captain, I really liked him as a human. |

| This was a strong volume. The build-up from the start(war-of-words) until the Massacre is so intense! But seriously Ainz didn't know what's going on. Demiurge is the one who planned most of the thing. I can't wait to see a war between Nazarick and Theocracy. |

| Out of the 9 Overlord volumes I have read so far, this is my favorite volume by far! Ainz's absolute dominance in it is incredible and mesmerizing to behold! :D |
| ^And now that I have read and watched more, this is still my favorite by far! Ainz's absolute dominance scenes in it are incredibly well written :D. I do wish that Gazef had accepted Ainz's offer though :/. |
