| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ah so we are introduced to Ruby, Blake, and the others already. There's some action already but I'm more eager to find out more about the main characters. Never seen RWBY before but this looks like an interesting start. |

Because we figure it out to quick they say Roosterteeth needs to learn how to do exposition better tbh. I mean everybody of high status in the series talks from an angle that makes little to no sense, since we lack context. Like I love Ozpin but he can be a walking exposition dump that prompts more questions than answers half the time. Oh well, lets see if they can give some good background development to the main girls, especially Ruby and Yang. Side note: If I see Taiyang or Qrow in this adaptation I will cry though. |

| The battle part is way more impressive in its animated version. That doesn't change the fact that the art was pretty rad in this chapter, though. For the second part, I feel like future readers will need to watch the animated series before reading the manga. |

| It was ok. Needs more leg breaking. Yeah, people who only read the manga should at least watch the trailers and the first season to understand what the first chapter showed. But hey! | Hmmm. So it opens with Ruby kicking the asses of some generic Grimm and ends with Jaune getting his ass bullied. Ok. I'll see how it goes. Artwork is pretty generic though. Well, "generic" is still better than "bad". |

| My least favorite arc had to be the one that they adapt first :( If they're skipping this much, they'll catch up the series in no time. I wonder what they plan to do then? The manga is only contextualizing and expanding upon the four trailers, its not replacing the show, its expanding upon it. |
