Pick your favorite girl
| Since Gintama has such a large amount of good females I decided to make this I'm sure I missed few ones but those are most of the important ones. Best for me is either Tsukuyo or Kagura I change my mind on that quite alot. |

| Pretty sure as time passes Kagura will win the poll by a fair amount of votes. Tsukuyo will probably come second. That's how it has always been.. Shame Yagyuu Kyuubei isn't getting much love tho, I loved her personality during the Yagyuu arc, though I might be biased since the Yagyuu arc is my personal favorite. |

| I think if Kyuubei being on this list is going to get them more love and discussion, perhaps it's not a bad thing for them to be on the poll, but I think we should also be aware of the fact that Kyuubei is genderfluid or a trans character, and not necessarily a "girl". :P |

| What kind of poll is this? Kagura is like one of the best 10 girls in anime history. The question should have been regarding the second. I would have picked Tsukki if that were the case. A close second would be Tama. Anyways, Gintoki wouldn't even approve of this poll. Why? Because his major crush isn't to be found anywhere in this poll. |

The worrying thing is though she was just 239 votes shy of overtaking my Kagura in the latest poll. Yeah I'm caught up to the manga and she didn't change much if at all. and while I really like Otae I definitely would not put her in my top 3 but whatever its not like its the first time I disagreed with Japan's choices. And I'm very happy that Tsukuyo is giving Kagura this much of fight! they are both my favorites so either way I'm happy. |

| We have to remember that Tsukki was introduced much, much later in the series. Actually she is the last of the heavily recurring female characters. So, seeing her this popular in MAL also means those who didn't get to see her before they stalled/dropped this anime would probably enjoyed it a bit more and perhaps even continued. But then again, watching 130ish episodes to get to see her wouldn't probably cut it for those who dropped it earlier. This season featured Otae the most (unlike previous Gintama seasons), yet Tsukki is still as popular as ever to MAL fans. I am not sure but somehow it seems Sorachi-sensei almost always leave Otae untouched (no body swap, no gender swap etc.). He claims himself as a gorilla. And refers to Otae as gorilla as well. Hmm... I don't want to read more into it. Kagura remains the best girl though. Sometimes I think what happened to Edo? Where did all the alien on the streets go? Since I always end up forgetting that our heroine is an alien herself. :D |

| Both Tsukuyo and Kyuubei. But I knew that Tsukuyo would be a popular choice so I went for Kyuubei. The reason I love her is because I can relate pretty well to her when it comes to character and having issues with behaving as your gender stereotype. Haven't seen a lot of ''manly'' female characters in anime so far. Also chose her for the silly reason that I really love samurais. |
