| First hand accounts? Minus one case of self defense, and a civil dispute, nope. Other cases fall under armed conflict. I know of various shootings around me however, mostly civil disputes or crime related. |
| People kill people not guns.. And I'd rather be shot if I was going to be murdered. Not hacked to death by a dull machete.. If you ban guns people are just going to use something else to kill each other with. And idk anyone who has been shot, I know a few people who have been stabbed but no one that's died. |

| Having worked in a clinic in the deep south of the US, most of the non-natural deaths I've heard of stemmed mostly from knives and car crashes than anything else. Gun-related deaths though? None at all actually, but that's probably because people were smart enough to not fuck with those who owned guns. |

Not like they go to heaven and become rock stars but rather their legacy is that of a rock star. Which begs the question "what makes a legacy bigger or smaller?" and "why is it relevant". I was, perhaps, bringing to light the idea that once you are dead, nothing matters. So theoretically you could say anything is equal to anything else and it would be a fair comparison.
