| Sometimes I listen to music. If my house is silent, then I won't listen to music while reading. I read both online on my phone and offline with physical manga checked out from my local library. I only read with the light off if I'm reading manga at night with my phone. I read a little at a time. Binge reading tires me out. I stay much more consistent going little by little. |

| 1. I've listened to music while reading manga, it was usually whatever music I liked at the time. Led to some non-sequitur associations. But now I don't listen to much music, so I try to read without. 2. If we're talking scanlations, then yes, I read online. Honestly I would prefer to have an actual book in my hands, with real paper. However, there's only so much money I can spare. For me I want to support local bookstores, but this means paying double price for imported Viz volumes...It sucks... 3. I've never payed much attention to lighting. If I'm reading on paper, then I would want to read it under a bright lamp. The rest of the room can be dark, or not, I just want the volume to be lit well. 4. I binge read. If I'm in the mood I can read for very long. However, depending on my available time, or the content of the series, sometimes my momentum stops and I drag my feet through a series. Right now I'm trying to read Gintama and Berserk at the same time, and the differences in series means different reading. Gintama is great but the episodic nature means I read it in bits. Berserk has a continuous story which means continuous reading. |

| 1: Not music, but I do need some noise so I'll have a long YouTube video play while I'm reading a paperback, if I'm reading online then I can't because I read online through my IPhone. 2: Both, I own manga to read and use a app on my IPhone to read manga as well. 3: I need the lights on to be able to read, I don't have that issue if I'm reading through my IPhone though. 4: I usually read a bit when reading manga via my IPhone, and binge read when I get new manga. |

| 1. Yes, I prefer calming music with instruments though. Lyric heavy music can be kind of distracting sometimes. 2. I do read some online but I definitely prefer having the physical book in my hands. 3. I like to sit on my couch with my back facing the window and having the sunlight hit the book, I don't read past the time of the sun setting. I can't stand reading books with lights, there is something about particular light bulbs that hurts my eyes when looking at paper. 4. Binge ftw. |
