| As for me I hated it even since I first heard him everytime I see him im like take him off screen for the love of god, at first I hated Goku's japanese voice actor because its so high pitched, but now King Kai takes the cake for worse voice actor it just sounds so terrible and so monotoned and the same even when he gets pissed off or freaks out. Does anyone else think so to? |

| OMG, Yes!!! The pacing of his talking is Soooooooo Slllooooww. It takes like 10 second to finish 1 sentence. It pisses me off. I'm actually re-watching DBZ right now in sub and the voice actors are tolerable compared to this new series. |

He is a legend in the anime business they ask him if he want to do it and he said yes that is why they kept him as the narrator & King Kai to evoke nostalgia to Dragonball & Dragonball Z fans. |

| I personally have no problem with it at all. Hearing the Seiyu takes me back to the days when I played Dragonball Z Budokai 1 and had to listen to him a bunch. If anything it's more nostalgic than a nuisance. |

| I'm not hating it because Joji Yanami is very old and has been recovering from an illness. He is the voice of the show, along with Nozawa, as he has been there since 1984 as the narrator. I think it is time to replace him as Kaio (I would pick Fumihiko Tachiki, something like his Hasegawa voice for Gintama would fit perfectly) but Yanami should stay as the narrator until he can no longer do it. |

| I respect him for the fact that he reprised his role, but at this point I think they should have gotten someone else. King Kai is really expressive, with his actions and faces he pulls. Having such a slow voice doesn't match up with what you see on the screen at all. |
