And Nina's waifu senses were tingling with how she put on her nursing outfit and readied herself just before Worrick came in with Nic and Doug |

| First of all as everyone been saying, and yes I will sound like a broken record it was a good fight. However, best fight of the year, probably, seeing what the contenders are. People was wondering "where did Alex go?" All I wanted to know was where was Nina going to go before Worrick entered with the others that peaked my curiosity. But all seriousness guys without going into any spoilers. Alex didn't go anyway far. |

| The fight was intense. It was also pretty lengthy which I like. Another great episode. Ginger is an interesting character with her little personality switch. Gina looks menacing af. I doubt Alex was actually kidnapped though. Prob Dr. Theo 5/5 |

| oh man - awesome episode. I love that they keep inserting bits of backstory while keeping the plot moving. Not to mention, great cliff hanger! In my opinion, it might be the best episode of the season thus far!! |

| I really enjoyed this episode. Personally I thought the music was extremely good. The backstory behind Nic and Worick was pretty interesting. I don't think it was the dead guy that abducted Alex but someone else. At first I thought it was all in her head until I saw the footsteps on the stairs then I was like...ohhh boy it was real. Who would kidnap her? Hard to think they failed to kill the pimp. They killed him like twice over. Was kinda curious what the three laws were but I ended up looking it up instead. If they had explained it, it would've been so much easier to understand the context of their conversation, especially about Gina stopping the fight. Can't wait till the next episode. |
| I'm puzzled by why was Nic shot by the guild? He protected Monroe and maintained the balance of 3 Laws isn't it. Also annoyed at the glasses girl who suddenly turns violent when Pauklee was interrupted. Who the hell she think she is! |

| Alex is suffering from PTSD. It's obvious that it was Dr. Theo but I wonder what he was doing there. I'm guessing Veronica was bedridden because she overdosed on Celebrer too often. Can't wait to learn more about the Guild and the other higher ups in the city. |

| Sigh... this show.... only one of a few that managed to entice me to blow through all 41 manga chapters just 4 episodes into the anime.... No, Alex is fine, for now....... empty flat with no one answering the phone and the first thing y'all think of is "Shit she got kidnapped, she gonna die!". She does have her issues though, even if we probably won't get to addressing them by the end of this season. Doug did well to last as long as he did, Nico just had too much of the Upper in his veins. Monroe sometimes reminds me of Tony Stark. Cannot wait for the next arc to begin. |

| After re-reading the manga again I just realized what a mess this adaption is in terms of following the manga. The background story comes way later in the manga, how weird that they did it like that. But hey it makes sense for an anime only watcher so it's not really a complaint. Just found it weird. |
| I haven't read the manga, so I have no idea what discrepancies lie between the original material and the adaptation. I can say, however, that episode 5 was pretty awesome. And Nicholas was as cool as ever. |

Young Worick and Nicolas with the bloodied man on the wall appear at the beginning of chapter 2 (I was actually surprised to see that scene in the anime and though it was too early and then reread the manga and was like oh) and the montage at the end of ep 3 is in chapter 2 as well. And the actual flashback starts after the fight with Doug and not before, not much of a discrepancy. I think giving out more info on Twilights earlier isn't a bad idea, since I remember it was a bit confusing for a while before getting all the context. That being said 5 episodes in I'm not that fond of this anime as an adaptation. It's like there's a certain tension missing. Maybe I'm being too picky but Nico in particular feels kinda off. |
