| So I assume you don't actually remember anything about life once you've kicked the bucket, but let's say you're on the verge of death for whatever reason. You realise you're going to die, so you start thinking about how your life has been up to this point (or whatever it is you happen to think of before death). In those last few seconds of life, what do you think you'll miss the most about life, and why? For me, I'm probably just going to be missing all the things I never got to experience (assuming I died sometime soon, it's kind of hard to know how I'd feel in 50+ years from now if I do die in old age). I'd of course miss the things I did for recreation as well, but most of, I'm just going to be having a lot of regrets. On the dark bright side, I don't have any people that I'd particularly miss, not even my family. Hmm, that may have come across as being more mopey and depressing than I intended... |

I hope I don't seem self-absorbed in the "oh woe is me" kind of way, but I only really have acquaintances in my life. They'd probably miss me for about 5 seconds, and then just get on with their lives. That's kind of a double-edged sword for me, since on one hand I'm glad I won't be causing too much grief to anyone once I'm 6 feet under, but at the same time, it kinda sucks knowing that I'm not "special" to anyone. But I don't really have any people I have special feelings for either (well I suppose there is one, sort of, but the feelings aren't mutual). | I'm pretty young so there is a lot of things in life that I haven't had the chance to experience. Like, getting married, having kids ect. I think the thing I would miss most would be lying in bed listening to music without a care in the world. Oh, and I would regret that I did not live long enough to see humanity take its first real steps into the universe. |
