yeah it was really good, so sad, left feeling a little depressed and quite taken aback by it

with yoshiyuki's dad's suicide, i really thought at first that it was cos of guilt that he killed himself, but then it could well haven been cos he caught aids of her :/

there are sequels, but dont really feel like reading them..

The sequels are equally, if not even maybe more tragic. They're essentially continuations of the Deep Love series, laying down what happens to each of the characters you were introduced to in Aya's story.

A very well-written series overall. Tearjerker is definitely an understatement, since it always kept you in the same emotional state when you were reading it.

Quietly sobbed as I saw Reina's child. Another manga that shoves into my face that the world is a shitty place filled with shitty people.

I hate people so much right now.

Who doesn't. Only happy moment was when Yoshiyuki's dad killed himself. And even that is questionable. Damn.

I really need to read something happy after this...

seriously good
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

Well, that's a sad end for Ayu. While I am reading this Manga right now, something similar is happening somewhere. It's.....sad.
Well, time to read Reina next~ Thank you ^^

Well that was depressing... although most of the story was itself. Makes me think why is life so unfair and hard sometimes... :(

Dunno how this will sound to some people and frankly I don't even care..
It was really amusing to watch her whole world crumble before her eyes.
This is not sad.

This was really sad. But this is the reality. Many girls have been and are currently being in Ayu's situation. I thought she will stop selling her body after the death of the obasan. Not quite surprised that she had AIDS because that's what many people will get after sleeping with tons of boys/girls.

It certainly is sad but im not going to feel sympathy for her even 0.000001% because there are other ways for u to get money instead of prostituting yourself and the result as we can see.

What a disappointment. It ended up being more melodramatic than somber, and about as realistic as Showgirls (which Reina's subplot reminded me of). It's like at every turn, the mangaka was poking me and going "hey, you see how bad she has it? don't be like this!".

I don't even want to think about the dog being able to track everyone down, or the homeless man comparing Ayu to an angel. Come on.

4/10, to be generous.

that was surprisingly good, I don't really usually like these type of graphic stories as their not my thing. They make me feel gross. But this one was realistic enough to keep me intrigued.

Kinda sad that she died but I'm not that surprised
