| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well a bit of competition this episode. I mean, actual competitive atmosphere in this show in public with a rather large audience. And one of the dudes have some crazy ass long hair. One of the better episodes imo with the battles and creative brutal plays. I hope some of the upcoming episodes follow this this trend as well. |

| OP is full of new spoilers of future story like always. It seem a few new characters and new rivals are appearing. Also Kurono's aunt makes her debut and it seems she knows something about Vanguard as she gave a worried/ominous look. Could Kurono's parents be related to Vanguard? Also the kid Taiyou from previous episode is also in the OP and might play an important role later. I already had the impression that character was a slightly more developed to be a mere 1-episode Vanguard rules recap last episode. The plot thickens. |

| I think it's pretty obvious that Vanguard has something to do with Chrono's family. How? I dunno. We'll have to see. Surprised that guy is appearing next episode. Can't wait to see how that goes. |
