In short, you're worried about "Pedo to the meadow" amirite?

I don't think the age of consent is 16 or 18 at other countries for no reason
It's 14 in a lot of places... And the reason for such a high age of consent is actually prudity, let's not forget that in countries with lower age of consent we also have lower teen pregnancy.

It's an option, you don't have to do it, hopefully you won't either. Imagine all the blood.

I'd be surprised and a little flattered if it wasn't someone I was living with. I don't really expect people to be nice to do nice things for me since I usually don't get nice treatment, but when I do, it makes me embarrassed and feel flushed in the face with shyness over it.

I would be appreciative. I always appreciate my ex when she cooked for me. But she does go a little overboard sometimes, then my buddies would tease me mercilessly over it.

I wouldn't want it to go to her head, but I'm grateful that females still want to cook for the males.

Don't spend an extravagant amount of money when you cook or make presents. In my experience having received such gifts and having seen others present them, the first reaction is inevitably the recipient thinking "Oh great, now they're expecting something from me." Unfortunately they often think that expectation is sex, and that often presents itself as a red flag for the recipient.

It's better to just be amiable, or to give little presents now and then with a clear reason behind them. You don't want the other person thinking you expect something in return.

In regards to the OP, I've gotten some rather fishy-looking baked goods over the years. If the sender is there and expects you to eat some, just be polite and have a little no matter what it tastes or looks like.

When I gift baked goods or food, I always make something simple which the recipient would be comfortable eating, or would eat under normal circumstances. As another user said, sometimes cooking with the person of interest can be a more valuable experience, and I would like to add that it can also be very telling as to whether you could live with that person. If you start elbowing each other and having disagreements while working in the kitchen, it doesn't bode well for your future.

A little overboard in that she is....being way too kind and attentive. Sometimes, she would just pop out from nowhere, right in front of me and my friends and gives me lunch. And the whole time I would be red-faced and sputtering, "Yes, babe. Yes, I would eat it." My buddies would be laughing their heads off in the background. It was high school, so yeah that's why.

Yep, something like that too. My ex was a good cook but there were some things that even me a voracious eater can't swallow.

I'd be ecstatic if anyone cooked for me. Free homemade food? Fuck yeah!

Also I've always wanted to cook breakfast in bed for someone. I just think it'd be a super sweet thing to do ^^

Depends.

If the food sucks then I'll tell them so an I won't eat it.

If it taste good then...I'll feel full since I'll eat it all.
