No I didn't just make this word up. From my understanding a "brotaku" is simply a mixture between your typical bro and your typical otaku. A more sociable, athletic and alpha otaku if you will. Have you ever come across this subtype of otaku? Do you happen to be one yourself? What are your general thoughts and experiences with brotakus?

Why do thread topics need an official dictionary reference? Brotakus are a part of otaku culture whether you accept them or not, bruh.

i may not talk it so well but i respect the English language as lingophile and a Hobbiest Linguist i so ifa word is not in official dictionary [ like Oxford for English] i do not count it as proper word so why the fuck make up a fake word

this, just another means of justifying what a loser you are fi you take yourself as a "brotaku". If you have a social life and you arent a complete neckbeard then you arent an otaku.

I think I might be a future brotaku, gotta change my name to Gombrotaku. I'm fairly athletic and often catch myself flexing in the mirror. I look down on those who don't even lift (all of you). My collection of polos has grown over the last 2 years although I don't wear them with the collar popped. The only thing I'm missing is the social aspect.

Also have a friend that has some brotaku qualities. He was within 7 minutes of qualifying for the olympic trials in the marathon. Not a typical bro sport but he's in really good shape. He also goes out and parties a lot with a lot of different people. He doesn't watch anime much anymore though, mostly a 90s-early 2000s guy.

How to get your daily dose of cringe.

1. Find one of the five threads made by otakuloserperson.
2. Read through this thread and feel satisfied that the daily amount of cringe was fulfilled by one guy.
3. Go back to talking to your waifu.

Care to explain what you mean by that? I thought white knighting was coming to the defence of a woman just because you like them or for the sake of chivalry. Looking through my threads I don't see how I do that.

Brotakus don't exist. They're just otaku. You can't make trash cool by adding bro
