| For a guy who's not even sure why he watches anime, you sure read a lot into all this. What's so bad about these episodes? They are animated in a solid way, the music is great and by repeating the key story elements you are experiencing a tiny piece of the feeling this whole seemingly endless (for Yuki at least) story conveys. The first season being aired in a completely random order didn't scare you off either and you're complaining now? About stuff you don't even pay for? I'm a Haruhi fan and I'm enjoying the episodes. And because the episodes entitled Endless Eight actually seem endless, I'm supposed to hate this all of a sudden? It's an ingenious move you gotta love. The end of this will be really good. I'm sure the producers are laughing their asses off at the uptight viewers screaming in pain how awful it is to see this arc drag on for nothing... 'endless eight seems endless... I didn't expect this... /wrist'. How would you have liked and episode repeating itself in the next and being resolved in one more episode? Now that would've been a waste. That's not Haruhi. Yeah you might think the love for the anime makes us blind but since it's not the case, it's nothing but the viewpoint of someone else who doesn't decide whether the next episode is gonna come, how it's gonna be like, and what my view on it is supposed to be. The joy I get from watching these episodes is not artificial or forced so there's nothing wrong. Excuse me while I go rewatch the episode. | This topic is meant to share your opinion if you haven't noticed yet. If you don't care, why do you come back? How much sense would've that made if the episodes would've been like in my example? It would've seemed like a filler. The way they're doing it, is the proper way for a theme like this. |

| Disagree, cyruz, if the first two episodes were the way they were, and the third episode concluded everything, I'd have been happy. The subsequent episodes haven't really done anything to better convey Yuki's mindset that the second episode of EE did almost perfectly. Nor would it seem like a filler. Honestly, to me, this arc feels like it's building up to some hugely major development the way they are delaying gratification, so unless Kyon says I love you of his own accord (not just the goading of Itsuki), the two go out on a date and kiss, I'll feel like the show was stalling. But even then, I'll still see a couple of these episodes as unimportant. |

| Last week was a bit disappointing to me, but whoa, this episode rocked <3 I think it was even better than the second one, and so beautifully animated I could've cried. Can't wait for next week. 5/5 |

| In fact - even if every episode is 'almost' the same and I'm getting upset... 2 moments are still hilarious: - Itsuki' voice while he's saying "I love you" - reaction of Kyon when he hears tearful voice of Asahina just one more thing - it's damn predictable what's going to happen... it's so predictable that it just may not happen (.O.') |

| Ok, let's be real here. The episodes have gone as follows: Kyon watches baseball (after first episode, says something about having deja vu). Haruhi calls (more deja vu). Kyon's late for meet up despite being early. Kyon's tired of lugging haruhi and Yuki. Swimsuits! Kyon and Itsuki talk while Haruhi breaks rules (more deja vu). Itsuki becomes suspicious of loop and says nothing to Kyon. Kyon and Itsuki are sitting down (Kyon has deja vu). Kyon sees Yuuki and kids with Haruhi (more deja vu). Everyone leaves the pool. Kyon looks at Yuuki (sometimes talks to her, first variation). Next day is shopping (next variation), festival, Yuki buying mask (3rd variation), fireworks. Next is cicada catching and frog suits in a mini montage. Mikuru calls Kyon in the middle of the night, Itsuki explains, Mikuru cries, Yuki gives big number. Itsuki and Kyon's conversation on the rooftop (Kyon continues to refuse to tell Haruhi "I love you") Next is a montage of all the other things they do (most room for variation, but still, only a couple of minutes at the most) August 30, Haruhi leaves, and Kyon acts like a dumb ass. August 31 and Kyon has wasted a day doing nothing in his room. It is practically the same stuff over and over again. Yuki's reactions have barely (if at all) changed since the second episode where she was visibly annoyed, and the tone of the episode boosted that feeling. The tone of the past few episodes (I've lost track by now) has been much lighter and less agitated than episode 2 of EE, therefore leaving their point moot. If every episode had more tension in the direction, a jautier pace, or even showing the variations of what they do, then it would be another story. That's not what's happening. |

Kyon's flashback from one of the loop earlier(possibly between 15499 and 15133), triggered while trying to remember a hint from Haruhi and by those movies they saw:(first screenshot is shown for 0.1 sec only, it is normally not visible)   And then here is a flashback where Kyon and Haruhi left the other 3 behind (when they parted?)  ps: maybe someone here can come up with a guess what do these hint? |

| My thoughts: Episode 2 - Interesting. Hopefully they'll tie it all up in the next episode. Episode 3 - Whatever. The next episode. Episode 4 - WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU BASTARDS!
