| Its a toss up between Elfen Lied and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. Hellsing's violence wasnt so bad in my opinion. |

| Higurashi's violence was plain disturbing. Makes me wonder what we'll see in Umineko... Technolyze had some cringe-worthy gore occasionally, too. Elfen Lied was just laughable with the amount of gore. Seriously, it just looked silly. |
| Higurashi's from what I recall. I was younger but I'd probably still be pretty scared if I were to re-watch, Elfen Lied's wasn't as gory as I thought it would be so it's not on my list. Surprisingly Darker than Black has had some scenes that catch me off guard though, I think. |

| Higurashi, Baccano! and Elfen Lied has parts that made me cringe or look away. Baccano! in particular has such a different atmosphere from the others I listed that it'd be unexpected. So I'd pause it and make a disgusted/disturbed face while wandering around the house a little. |

| Im yet to see gore that could be considered "Disgusting", when I read all the stuff about elfen lied have lots of blood and gore I was really let down when I saw how overly exagerated everyone makes it out to be. None the less its still a masterpiece. |

| Elfen Lied was intense, but it was allso an amazing anime. if you don't watch the ending... and then read the manga to see it if has a better ending. (it dosn't). the manga has at least a real ending that is not a total cliff hanger. |

| The only one to make me ever cringe was Perfect Blue. elfen lied, baccano!, battle royale (read it, probably that and parasyte are goriest manga ever read) are pretty gory to, but never made me flinch. |

| Why has no one mentioned Kemonozume? It kicks the shit out of everything else mentioned. Watch this scene. Now that really is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. The scene from Haibane Renmei where Rakka gets her wings is pretty disgusting as well. |
| Hellsing Ultimate, when the nazi vampires attack London. I first watched it around 2 AM, so it was pretty disturbing. (Especially that short scene where one of the vampires was eating a baby o_o') My little brother was also there. I didn't get one bit of sleep that night from his constant screaming about how "The vampires are gonna get me!" |
